Questions & Answers
If the strips show high or low results depending on the test, you must correct the problem with a chemical. In most cases, my husband will go to a pool supply store and inquire about the proper chemical. To buy the right amount, you'll need to know how much water is in your pool.
As a result of the covid, the project has been pushed back.
We're sorry, but these strips are no longer available.

These are the items that I use most frequently. to a strip There are no perfect test strips, but I appreciate that these cover a wider range of variables than many others. And they're accurate, as long as you keep in mind that strips can only give you a rough estimate. br>br>I did a side-by-side comparison. side by side with these strips and a water/chemical kit, and the strips are always within a few degrees of the kit. There aren't many similar products that can match that. I use these a lot more than a chemical kit because they give me a reading that I'm comfortable with, and the convenience is hard to beat. The use of water chemical tests is extremely inconvenient. You can bet I'm going to use a strip if I can get a faster read. These are capable of completing the task at hand. br>br>Strongly suggested. br>br>.
This option provides more information than most other test strips, and it is more closely matched to my more expensive chemical test kit. I can avoid buying expensive replacement test reagents for a longer period of time by using these strips on a daily basis.
The results of the professional tests are in agreement with this product. I tried both apps again a few days ago, and the Clorox app gave crazy off-the-chart readings on everything again, while this one only said the PH was a tad high. I couldn't use baking soda to adjust alkalinity a couple of weeks ago because I got the same results at the pool store.
After experimenting with a few others where the colors bleed, I can confidently state that these are simple to read, dependable, and consistent. There may be others that are less expensive per strip, but I had to use two or three to get a clear reading with those, so I didn't save any money.
I've never found a better test strip than Lamotte's. For the past 20 years, I've been maintaining the chemical levels in my pool, and strip testing has never completely satisfied me. That changed when I got the results from this product, which were extremely accurate when compared to the results from my Taylor water/chemical test kit. The colors used are easy to read and eliminate the need for guesswork when it comes to chemical levels. I've had a few brands of strips where finding the right color match is difficult, but not these. In the future, I will only buy this strip test.
It's a fantastic product that will last me at least two seasons. I can keep my water clear and algae-free because the readings are accurate enough. br>It's not as precise as a pool store or regent tester, but it'll suffice for pool maintenance. When I run out, I'll buy some more.
I'm about to place my second order.
Great strip, very accurate. The bottle could use a little more color, but overall it's fantastic. I wish LaMotte offered the 100-coynt bottle for sale on Amazon.
