The Frog inline or ball systems do not work with these. Until I shocked my hot tub, I couldn't figure out why it didn't have any bromine levels. br> I bought the @ease type and it works great.
A date code can be found on actual KING TECHNOLOGY bottles. Also, these are not to be confused with the KING @EASE strips! The label is identical to the KING TECHNOLOGY label for @EASE, but it does not mention @EASE as it does on the real deal bottle. BEWARE! If you want to be certain, buy directly from KING.
These strips are simple to use, but I don't have much faith in the results they provide; I've used several vials of them over the past two years, and they don't provide the same level of accuracy as liquid test kits. Water testing can be done at my house or at a pool supply store. When both liquid tests are compared, there is always a difference in level in some area. Also, the last two bottles of strips have had issues with the chlorine test pad sloughing off into the pool, despite the fact that it was not left in the water for the recommended amount of time (2 seconds). These strips are not something I would recommend.
I had the first ten strips do it on a brand new container. It's impossible to know how much bromine is in your system. It was necessary to purchase strips from a different manufacturer.
These are what we use in our hot tub, and they're fantastic. It makes keeping our chlorine levels, as well as the other chemicals we use, in check a breeze. It's simple to read and use.
The item I received is clearly marked as not compatible with my tub (Frog @Ease) on the packaging. This isn't the same photo that was used in the listing. Bait and switch is a technique used by con artists.
These strips are used to test the water in our hot tub. It's a simple strip with all of the necessary information.
The chlorine level appears to be very steely or not showing accurately in the majority of the strips (perhaps a tad more than half of them). I've used this brand previously, but purchased directly from the store, and had no issues. I'm not sure why these are having issues.
