My ones from a month ago are still valid until May 5, 2017.
My batch number is 5/2018, but I'm still using them and they're fine as long as they're stored properly during the off-season.
Without a doubt, chlorine.

My analysis had always made me uncomfortable. I've taken several color matching tests as part of my job as a quality inspector and usually do well, but I'm having trouble with these test strips and the scale. On the bottle color scale, there never appears to be a match. I've noticed that the color of the test strip changes as time passes after the dip. It's possible that I'm the only one who notices. I'm a stickler for precision and usability. I tried dipping several at once, and every now and then one would turn out to be a different color. As a result, I always dipped three at a time, discarding the odd one.
According to the directions, I tested the water with the strips. At 2 p. m. , the device displayed OK results. 7 Chlorine, 0 Chlorine, 0 Chlorine, 0 Chlor The pH is 4 and the alkalinity is 150. After leaving the pool, a member of our family developed skin irritations. The strips were used again, and the results were the same. br>br>I took a sample to the pool company right away to be tested. The results were 7 out of 10. 0 chlorine, 260 Alk, and a pH of greater than 9. 0 for pH. br>br>Will never use anything but OTO and a direct water sample. br>br>I'm done with comic strips.
With my meter, I purchased these extra strips. br>I was disappointed to learn that these 100 strips expire in July, despite the fact that I ordered them in January. In 5 months, you'll have used a lot of strips. The expiration date should be included in the product description so that the customer can make an informed decision! My money seems to have been squandered.
br>br>I like to submerge the strips in the spa water until they reach the middle of the forearm. I swirl the strips in the water for a few seconds before pulling them out and pressing the test button, flicking my arm and stripping a few times before quickly inserting the test strip into the reader. To pre-clean, I keep a cotton tip swab on hand. Before dipping the test strip in the spa, clean the colorimeter's window. I insert the test strip into the reader slot and secure it with a cotton swab that runs the entire length of the test strip. I take three readings to get a picture of the chemistry of the spa water. Overall, when conducting tests in this manner, you'll require a large number of test strips, and the more you test your water, the more you'll require this product due to the convenience of having so many strips. Also, if you have to pay for postage when purchasing large quantities of test strips, you will save money by making fewer purchases. This is a very positive development. br>br>I hope this information was useful.
The strips, when combined with AquaChek, make it simple and convenient to keep my Softub water clean - Water that is free of contaminants.
This product is useful for keeping track of pool ph, chlorine, and alkalinity levels.
My tester thinks it's great!.
This is the first year I have used it. I appreciate how quickly I can receive a complete diagnosis.
