We mix it 25% product 75% water in spray bottle in spray bottle in spray bottle in spray bottle in% We spray around the waterline of the spa and pool where the bees drink twice a week to ensure that the pool wall and water are sprayed. It's truly remarkable how well this works. Sorry, I don't know how to use it to get rid of algae, but know that it will keep bees away in any case.

I got it because I live in Arizona and my pool had become infested with wasps and was no longer usable. I had been looking for a solution for months and this was recommended by a neighbor on the Nextdoor app, so I decided to give it a try, and the wasps were gone in just two days! I used it in much smaller amounts than what was recommended for algae treatment. Approximately 4 oz for a pool the size of a children's play area The wasps first landed and drowned on the first day. On the second day, wasps approached the pool, but by the third day, there were none. I've only had to use it once every two weeks or so. When I see the wasps return, I put it in at night and let it cycle through the system, and no more wasps appear. I hadn't been able to use my pool in a few years due to wasp infestations, but this allowed me to do so again!.
I purchased it solely based on the fact that it kills wasps, according to the reviews. br>Because our pool attracts so many wasps, we only used it a few times last summer. I discovered at least a dozen dead wasps in our filter basket just a few days after using this product for the first time. This went on for a few weeks, and the number of wasps I encountered gradually decreased. After a while, I didn't notice any in our backyard. br>We had a pool party this week (about 2 months after starting this product) and not a single wasp was present! We're now lifelong customers! Thank you so much for everything!.
Wasps have been coming to my pool for water since I moved to Arizona. This product was recommended by a local pool store, and I was able to find it on Amazon for a lower price. This stuff is AMAZING! No joke! We've had three so far. Five wasps land in the pool at the same time, in a steady stream. The nests have taken up residence in the yards of our neighbors, leaving us helpless. I put 10 oz of this stuff in my 15,000 gallon pool and had four dead wasps in a matter of minutes. When more wasps appeared, I noticed a pattern. They weren't going to land on the water; instead, they were leaving. I've seen about 9 dead wasps after about 4 hours, and the majority of them are already avoiding my pool in favor of the neighbor's! I'm going to take some of this over to them right now! If it also aids in the removal of algae, it's a win-win situation. bonus! Wasps can be killed and prevented from entering your pool by using the following methods. A+!.
They were landing on one end of the pool, right at the waterline, and I assume this is where they all went to drink water. As a result of the swarms of bees, we were unable to use the pool. The bees were completely gone 2 days later after I mixed 1 part of this Algaecide with 2 parts water in a spray bottle and sprayed the entire edge of the pool above the waterline. They don't even come to my back yard anymore, they probably just go to a neighbor's pool now. Plus, as a bonus, the pool water is now crystal clear, better than it has been in months, and my pool's waterline is so clean that I didn't even scrub it. From now on, I'll add a small amount of this product to the water every couple of weeks for maintenance purposes.
Honey bees will not enter your pool or hot tub if you use this method. In a spray bottle, I combine 1 part Skill-Aid and 1 part Skill-Aid. It's made up of two parts water and one part ketchup. I then spray the pool/hot tub wall near the waterline, where the bees congregate, and a few inches above the water line - We can go almost an entire day without having to deal with stinging bees near the pool. Other dead bugs will also be found in the pool, as other reviewers have stated. However, I discovered that using a spray bottle technique is much less expensive than treating our entire pool on a regular basis - which, in our case, is quite large and necessitates a great deal of skill- It will be used to clean the whole pool. We had tried everything until a neighbor's pool guy told us about Algaecide as a deterrent. Until we discovered this method, we had to rely on harmful and costly bee killer sprays. We couldn't be more pleased - this will also remove any algae buildup at your waterline. I hope this information is useful to others. br>br>Amazon, take note: When people look for pool bug or bee repellents, this product should come up.
Until I added the skillet, I had wasp swarms drinking from my large in-ground pool. It has, for the most part, eliminated the wasp problem. I could now swim in a pool without constantly avoiding or swatting wasps that would land on or sting me. 1 I've been using this product for a few years now and it has never let me down.
We deal with wasps on a regular basis as a pool owner in New Mexico. We had pest control remove a few nests on our property in previous years, but the pool continued to attract wasps from other parts of the neighborhood. Last year, both of our daughters-in-law-- These pesky critters stung both the law and the puppy. This year, I was determined to find a different way to get rid of wasps, and I came across a post on Nextdoor claiming that Skill-X was a viable option. It was used in their pool to get rid of wasps as well as algae. I decided to give this product a try because we had a spotty black algae issue as well. This product, to my surprise, was effective for both! Yes, the pool bubbles for a few days because the algecide breaks up the water tension, causing the wasps to fall in and be unable to fly out when they land on the water's surface to get a drink. In addition, the black algae spots have vanished! The black algae spots have not returned after using this product, brushing the remaining spots, and rubbing a broken chlorine tablet on the affected areas. It's been a long time since our pool has looked this good! In addition, if we see a wasp near the pool, we will use 4 oz. of Skill-A-Wasp. To keep the pesky wasps away, put it on a night cycle! Once a week to twice a week, this maintenance is performed! This product is well worth the money in our opinion.
