This is the method that I use to determine the alkalinity of the water. In addition to the Taylor speed stirrer, I use it with this mixture. This hydrometer is great for measuring total alkalinity levels in the pool. I routinely measure pH, chlorine levels, total alkalinity, and total alkalinity levels, and this one works great for all four. An 80% strength of 60ml (this size) lasts almost a year, so having an expiration date of at least a year is a good idea. It is just a matter of purchasing the 13 total alkalinity if I need to raise it. Baking soda bags that are resealable from local costco are a lot less expensive than the pails at the local pool store If you reseal the bags you get more usage from them.
My test kit came with a smaller bottle, so I love that this one is bigger. In my pool, I'll be testing the total alkalinity in my water using this test kit because the expiration date is 2021 (more than enough for me because I go through them fast!). My only complaint is that I have none! *)
Easy, quick, and free I recommend it! I am P. Ensure that the tip of the bottle is clean between each drop on the bottle by wiping it with a damp cloth or paper towel.
If you're buying pool chemicals, you should look at the expiration date. In the future, I would like to purchase more items from this seller! I am extremely happy with my purchase.
Since I've used these chemicals from Taylor for many years and don't need to go to a pool store for water tests I don't need to go to a pool store. If you have an outdoor swimming pool, avoid using bromine).
It takes me longer to use this reagent than any other. Alkalinity testing requires two times as many drops of R- as does pH testing This reagent gives me more accurate results than all the other reagents I use to test chlorine or The whole idea behind a bigger bottle like this is that you get more for your money.
I received the item exactly as described and it was delivered quickly.
The best reagent to determine accurate levels of your pool is Taylor reagent. As a supplier, I highly recommend this. I received it quickly and it was a great addition to my inventory. I appreciate it.
Whenever I use Taylor Technologies products, I have always experienced consistently good results.
