Questions & Answers

How long do you have to wait for the color to develop after adding the 5 drops of dye?

As soon as chlorine is combined with calcium, the color of pink will result.

The purpose of this product is to neutralize the chlorine in a water sample before testing the PH. You simply add 1 drop to it. ?

You can do this with the Taylor K 1000 test kit. I use this to find out how much chlorine you have combined. When using R- in tests for free chlorine (Chlorine drop test), see the following results I got 870 powder and I got 850 powder &amp 850 powder Reagent#3 should be added to 871 solution five drops at a time. In case it changes color from pink to clear, add 871 solution 1 drop at a time until it is To check the pH level, reagent #4 or #14 is used, depending on the test kit. Trouble Free Pools can help you with that. A great deal of information is presented.

Selected User Reviews For Taylor Reagent #3 .75 oz R-0003-A Pack of 2

An incorrect item is included in this package! The Taylor reagent is used to detect combined chlorine in swimming Reagent R- is the name of the bag in which the item is contained It was actually a bottle to check for stabilizer in a pool that was contained in the bag
3/5

A bottle with no contents. There is a need to check the stock at the seller. They will either make a lot of money or they will lose money. IMHO, the person would have noticed that the wrong item was in the bag regardless of what was written on the package label if he knew anything about pool water testing.

An empty bottle of air was received as part of the order, as you can see from the picture

Oddly, the plastic bag on the outer side describes the correct product, not what is inside of it. There are two kinds of wrongness in this item description, someone please check it out!.
