Lengthy assembly process, lots of drilling, holes that don't Since I am retired builder and found it quite challenging to assemble this, especially with the pictures of the instructions, I could not see this being put together by the average person. The order is delivered via Truck Freight and not delivering to your home, so you need to pick up the shipment with a truck or trailer all of the boxes are very heavy, so you will need someone to help unload them since the driver will not assist with that. Upon assembly, it will do what I need it to do, but it was a great deal of hassle and headache to put together.
It is mine that I assembled myself -- A lot to cope with for one person We have a cherry picker, engine hoist, and a step ladder for sale. I made mistakes and I apologize Pictures make it a challenge because there are no instructions It is important to get the legs of the carport just right for easy opening and closing. I got a lot of knowledge from this course. We'll do it faster and easier next time -- and have fun while you're at it! It is possible to conduct a sophisticated analysis and find out what one man can do if you are creative and imaginative enough The crew should have at least three people before starting the project ABOUT TOM.
The carport has turned out well and has worked well thus A leak has not been detected. As soon as the panels are installed, they are sealed with silicon. OG (Old Girl) was involved in the installation, while my son helped position the My hardest work on each row was on the center panels, which I worked on for two hours a day after work. The installation wasn't too difficult, but there was a lot of drilling involved. My initial thought was to return to the drilling site, but I changed my mind. In the end, the drilling proved to be my saving grace as it allowed me to tweek the panel installation because I had an uneven ground surface.
The screw number is insufficient, there are less than 20. If the base is not level, it is difficult to install the panel. By marking out the central line and point for each truss in white color, the holes in the panel can be matched. A plastic side panel, wood base, and extra cross bars were purchased from Home Depot.
The weight is very high and the material is very strong. It is in the process of being set You definitely need two people to do it. It took a long time to level the frame on a gravel driveway since it was a higher surface.
I found it easy to set up, but it takes some reading and figuring out how to do. Had it not been for the multi-piece roof panels, we would have given it 5 stars. Other than that, it seems to be a good day. Two pieces of steel are used to anchor the device to my house, so it is very stable.
This is a good deal for us since we own a summer house in AZ that we have to shut down for 5 months in the winter. It's quite cold here & we have lots of snow It has snowed. We will be able to keep snow off of our fishing boat and to protect our vehicles when we are here by having this carport. Throughout the roof installation, my husband did all of the work by himself, with my assistance in lifting the roof.
The only metal on the roof is galvanized therefore, it will not take long for the metal on the floor to rust.
