In order to keep my electric car covered outside, I needed an outdoor cover. The winter rains were more likely to affect my electrical connections, therefore I wanted protection. Although there were reviews that the poles would not stay connected in strong winds, I selected the Abba 10' X 20' patio tent. Rather than use snap locks to secure all of the pole connections, push button snap locks would have been far more convenient. The pole connections did not need strengthening, but I was prepared to purchase bolts to reinforce them. As far as I know, I will have to drill holes in all of the poles to accomplish It was a pleasant surprise to discover that the pole connections are all secured with snap button locks when my package arrived. Although I am not sure whether this represents a recent design improvement or not, without it I would not have given a 5 star rating. The instructions had been criticized as unclear by some reviewers. The experience I had was not the same as yours. It was easy to follow and I found it to be clear. The comparison between this canopy and a Vida Goods canopy is as follows This canopy is one of the Abba ones.
