I'm not sure how long it's been. My patio cover, however, has been covering the log rack for over a year. It is extremely long-lasting and resistant to the elements. Mine is perfect for me.
On both sides, as well as in the center, there are zippers.
I'm not sure because we leave it outside at our seasonal site, but the zipper is very easy to use, so I'm guessing it's fine.
It says I bought it, so I'm assuming it's the same as mine at not twice the size of an 8' log cover. While the cover zips open in the middle rather than on the sides, exposing half or all of the stack from one side, it is unmistakably one piece.

I went out to my woodpile, unzipped the flaps, unclipped the clips (which was a bit silly), and took my wood out. I used the handles at the end of the cover to bring it back over the ends of my wood rack because it had shifted. Right at the seam, it snapped. My two-week return policy came to an end two weeks ago - So it's an understatement to say I'm irritated by this product. It should have lasted longer for the price I paid, particularly during a winter storm. This is the last time I'll buy this item. Those who live in colder climates should be aware of this and avoid it.
It hasn't even been a year, and one end of it is completely faded and ripping. This is not a good idea.
Even over a crammed 4x4 rack, it fits perfectly with plenty of extra room. Although the quality appears to be satisfactory, it is not water resistant. My top rows of wood are all wet, and white mold has grown on a few logs as well. I'm not in a good mood right now. item being considered for return.
Mine is slightly over a year old and has only experienced one full winter and summer. It's faded badly on the back, and you can see where it's worn through; it also has a tear on the top, which I'm not sure how I didn't notice because this stand has very little wood, so the cover was never heavily used. br>I can't recommend it; instead, I'd look for something else unless you're willing to replace it every year.
This was intended to replace a cover that had disintegrated after only a few years. The fabric appears to be of higher quality. Because it is new and appears to be sturdy, I gave it four stars for durability. I don't have enough experience with it to give it a different rating. It fits nicely on my log rack and hasn't blown away in the wind thanks to the additional Velcro straps that keep it attached to the rack even when the front is open - This is a fantastic feature. I would suggest it.
I really like this cover, even though when it's on top of the log rack, it doesn't look anything like the picture. Slouches in the middle of the cover, and the corners are wider than a standard log rack. Overall, it accomplishes its goal of keeping our wood stove firewood dry.
This was on the firewood rack on the back porch. One of the corners had ripped at the seam this season. The top was sun-baked and brittle. It was caught in the wind, and three more holes were ripped through it. For top 90%, I kept the wood dry. On a 4ft tall rack, I never went all the way down over all the wood. It was a good investment for the money.
I was able to complete the task thanks to you! It was simple to put on (I did it alone). It had a little give on the sides, which allowed for longer pieces of wood to be used. I get a lot of downed tree branches because I live in a wooded area with a lot of trees. This is very effective and keeps the area dry.
