Yes, the brackets can be used for vertical layers to assemble multiple levels; you simply need to rotate the middle layer brackets during assembly. br>br>With best wishes,br>Sarah @ Tidyboss
You don't need an upper, it's pretty sturdy; you could put a 2x4 between them if you wanted, but it's not necessary; I have mine stacked with oak 5' tall and it works great.
What you're getting at is that I'm not sure what you're talking about. 2 X 4 X 8's and 2 X 4 X 10's were used for this project.
Hello,br>br>If you use standard 2x4s for your frame, none of the 2x4s will need to be squared. Simply ensure that the frame is securely fastened to the brackets, and the frame should remain intact. br>br>Tidyboss br>br>Boss br>br>Boss br>

It's sturdy and well-made. I built it out of 12' 2x4s that were 6' tall. On the ends and in the middle, I also used cement blocks as support. A 12' crossmember was used to connect the uprights.
If there are any complaints, it will be that the included rubber gasket is not thick enough (or that the hole is too large?). As a result, the 2x4 has gaps. I didn't take away any stars, though, because I'm not sure if it will make a difference. Very sturdy, and I like that I can adjust the amount of wood I use on a regular basis.
This log holder was exactly what I needed. It had to fit into a very specific space, and the height and length could be easily adjusted. There were many similar products to choose from, but this one stood out because of the color (dark brown), as well as the fact that it came with screws, rubber edging, and gloves that were a perfect fit for me. For added stability and aesthetics, I recommend purchasing a second set of brackets to install on top. This was a breeze to put together. Extra screws and rubber were also included, which I found to be a nice touch. A winner! This is something I strongly advise you to purchase.
Great product, though the wood (2x4) was more expensive than the stand. I used longer screws and drilled pilot holes first, and having the ability to customize the length and height is a huge plus. I bought treated 2 x 4s and stained them to match our patio's color scheme for long-term durability and appearance. I've already recommended this product to two members of my family.
This is an excellent rack system for constructing a firewood storage system. For our cabin, this is the fourth time I've used this product. The 2x4s are kept off the ground by using material at the ends and in the middle.
It works beautifully and was simple to put together. We raised it off the ground with cement blocks, but this isn't required.
This Outdoor Fireplace Log Wood Storage Rack is simple to put together, but it is not very stable. A couple of cross brackets tying in the 2x4 would improve stability and sturdiness. You get what you pay for most of the time.
I haven't come across anything other than the possibility that they could have been a little wider, implying that the depth could have been a little greater. I haven't screwed it on yet because I'm not sure what height or length I want it to be. This is a fantastic idea, especially since I am in my 70s and prefer simple things.
