Questions & Answers
The cover has a hole for each post that allows you to adjust the cover to the level of the wood while also providing extra grip to each post; it appears to keep it secure and we haven't had any issues with it blowing off.
Yes, it's extremely durable and well-built. Even the welded cross braces are 3/6" thick, baked-on steel. on paint. Even when fully loaded, it does not bend, yield, or budge. It has remained rust-free for the entire winter (though I did purchase an after-market rust preventative). It's under a porch overhang and has full cover at the market).
It is not recommended to place directly on the grass due to the weight of the wood and the possibility of sinking into it. It is necessary to place stones under the legs. Thank you for contacting us with your inquiry!

We live in Texas, and I purchased this for my husband's birthday in December 2020. We set this up near our back door and ordered a quarter cord of wood in January 2021, because he wanted somewhere more convenient to store our firewood than a pile in the backyard. The quarter cord was the perfect fit, keeping the top logs dry and the rest of the logs off the ground. Our fireplace is conveniently located near the back door, making this arrangement extremely functional. The snowstorm of February 2021 knocked us out of commission for days. Our fire lasted for days because we had easy access to dry wood. We are overjoyed that this product performs as expected! It weathered the storm and, despite being out for over a year, still looks great. The photo was taken in November 2021, with a quarter cord of wood ready for the fall and winter months.
It's a nice-looking product that's also simple to put together and quite durable. The fabric cover is lovely, but I wish it had been designed to sit tauter across the tops of the frame posts. Heavy rain causes the cover to dip quite a bit unless wood is stacked to the top. But it's not a deal breaker.
Rack is fantastic. I got a lot of positive feedback. This rack is well-made and simple to assemble. It not only looks great, but it also works well. I purchased the 6-pack of cigarettes. After measuring out the 1/4 cord that was delivered to me, I built a foot rack. It was a good fit for the 6-foot tall model. rack for your feet The difference, I believe, is that the 1/4 cord is deeper than a single log, necessitating the use of more than 4x4. Either that, or they threw in a few extra items. br>br>In any case, this comes in handy when I run out of something and need to order more. I don't have to wait until I've used up all of the wood to reorder and fit it on the rack if I can fit slightly more than 1/4.
Excellent fit and strength are the result of high-precision welds and machining. The appealing industrial coating is applied uniformly and completely. br>Instructions for putting it together. Prior to applying the coating, the bolt holes are drilled. Because of the close tolerances, a small amount of coating can prevent the bolts from easily sliding into their holes. I used a bolt as a drift, lightly tapping it into each hole with a small rubber mallet to ensure that no coating residue remained. Following that, putting it together was a breeze.
This wood keeper is fantastic. I've chopped wood and it's simple to stack and store. The waterproof cover keeps the water off the wood and keeps it dry. It's solidly constructed, not flimsy, and I've set it up on four pavers to keep the legs from sinking into the ground. It's a neat and tidy way to keep your wood organized.
I'm glad I paid the extra $30 for this brand, as it appears to be much more durable than the tube versions. I don't think the delivery man was too pleased with me because the package was SO HEAVY. However, it is very simple to set up.
These are a little on the pricey side, but I consider the durability to be well worth it. I have five racks from this company: two of this size, two of larger size, and one of smaller size. When I stock them in the late summer, they really help keep my front porch looking organized. I don't dismantle them and store them after the winter; it's possible, but I'm prone to misplacing parts, so I hide them among my wife's larger planters.
" The woodhaven 1/4 cord firewood rack arrived today, and I assembled it. br>br>I found it on Amazon after searching for "log rack" on Google. com on March 29th, and it arrived via FedEx standard on April 1st afternoon (no joke!). ), and used a small adjustable wrench and a tiny socket wrench (all by myself) to unpack and put it together in less than a half hour. I'm sure it would have taken me twice as long to put this together if I hadn't had the right tools). easy peesy! br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br> I am blown away. By the way, you did a great job packing and providing instructions. The metal structure, as well as the 12" cover, are made of high-quality materials. br>br>only one quibble: The nut/bolt holes closest to the welded crossbar are just a smidgeon too close together. I was barely able to get my tool into position with my tiny socket wrench. Instead of being straight on, the socket was slightly angled. A standard socket wrench, I'm sure, would struggle to get into such a tight spot. br>br>Just a suggestion for future development. My purchase has exceeded my expectations. Based on my two hours of online comparison shopping, this is a great value for the money. I can see why people bought several of this "less is more" but "you get what you pay for" rack.
