It was put on in early October, and it's already ripped and falling apart by the end of November; it won't last the winter. It's not even the sun's fault that it's falling apart. The quality is extremely poor.
It's a massive building. Because it's 24 inches deep and most stands are around 12-inches wide, it'll never fit like the pictures. Even though chopped wood is longer than 12 inches, 18 inches is the maximum length. Even when I added longer chopped wood to our firewood rack, the cover will hang/slouch at 18 inches and will not look as uniform as the pictures. I had hoped for something more consistent and durable, but it does keep the wood dry.
It's well worth your time. This has been in my possession for a few weeks and has performed admirably. When compared to the low-cost Home Depot covers and even some of the higher-end Amazon covers, this appears to be the most durable. As winter approaches, only time will tell if this is a thicker, better-quality cover. I'm not sure about the velcro vs. zipper on others, but the winds aren't as strong where I live.
This cover makes me so happy! It has a great appearance and feels good in the hand. It has performed admirably in the face of wind and rain so far. It will, without a doubt, work in the snow as well. I like how there are two panels that can be opened separately to reveal the right or left side of the wood, or together to reveal the entire surface. Before installing the cover, I built an 8' tubular frame and topped it with a large, sturdy piece of wood. This will provide stability and support, preventing rain from pooling or snow from sagging. Perfect!.
Cheap - After six months, the fabric was torn. After six months of use, the material tore - in the shade a pleasant climate - 4 times the wood was covered and uncovered- utter nonsense cheap- Do not purchase a thin.
This is a fantastic cover. My 8' x 16" x 42" wood rack is covered by it. It's of excellent quality and will withstand snow, rain, and wind with ease. I like how it has two Velcro flaps so you can access either side of the rack without having to remove the entire stack of wood. This is a cover that I strongly suggest.
The material is extremely durable. We ordered one that was slightly larger than our previous one so that it would be easier to put on and fit looser. Perfect!.
This is a perfect match for the right-sized holder I made using base supports I bought separately. It's so simple to use, and I like how it has straps around the base corners to keep it in place.
