It appears that 12-year-old children are involved. The minimum log length would be 13 inches. It's best if you go with 13".

Even better if you buy four and put them together to form a cube. Jarrah slats (typically used for decking) were screwed together to make this in South Australia. Because Australia is a metric country, the best way to accommodate the old 4x2 inch dimensions that are no longer manufactured here was to use the metric system. 2m x 1. Size: 8m x 0m x 0m On my veranda (out of the weather), I stacked and managed 5 tons of Red Gun with ease. It was necessary to ship to Singapore first and then return with my luggage, but it was well worth the effort.
I'm going to give it a 4 because there is one minor flaw that I noticed. On the part that keeps the 2x4 vertical, there is no drain hole. Rainwater can collect on the bottom and rot it. To let the water out, I drilled a small hole. Paint, welding, and heavy construction are all excellent. I'm going to buy some more of these.
This is a good product that does its job. Choose 10' boards to get the most bang for your buck. For our firepit and sloping land, the 6ft I used was just right.
This is an excellent method of storing firewood. It's extremely durable and simple to use. After reading another review, I decided to buy an extra set and use them for top support; this thing is a solid storage rack thanks to the top pieces and a few nailers for support. I built it to be 10' wide by 5' high, with a ton of wood inside. I'm going to build another one because it turned out so well.
It's a piece of shoddy workmanship. br>br>These brackets have no square bends, corners, angles, or welds. The construction is shoddy at best. The beam will be extremely crooked if you insert a 2x4 into the vertical slots because the vertical bracket is extremely poorly welded at a severe angle. br>br> br>br>These brackets aren't worth even $20, much less $40. After opening the box, I sent them back right away.
I bought two sets of these for my summer home, one for inside the shed and the other for outside, and they were both incredibly simple to put together. I had my 2x4s cut at the lumber yard, brought them home, and finished this project in about 1 1/2 hours, ready to fill with firewood for the coming seasons. Anyone can do it if two 60-year-old women and an 83-year-old woman can. This is the best purchase we've ever made, and it will outlast us.
I'm very pleased with how it turned out, and how well it was put together. Within two shipping days, I received my split wood and was able to use it right away. For the base, I used eight foot 2x4''x 8' long treated 2x4''x 8' long treated 2x4''x 8' long treated 2x4''x 8' long treated 2x4''x 8' long treated 2x4''x 8' long treated 2x4''x 8' long treated 2x4''x 8' long treated 2x4''x 8' long treated 2x4''x 8' long treated 2x4'' After cutting the lumber to size and putting it in place, it took me less than 30 minutes to put it together. To keep the bottom of the rack off the ground and allow air to circulate, I used cement blocks to elevate it off the ground. It took a little longer to split the wood and stack it. I would recommend this product, and I plan to buy at least two more sets. a year from now There's nothing like being able to build your own rack. Cover your wood with a tarp to protect it from the elements. If you don't have access to a saw, have lumber cut for you by home building products.
One of the crossbars has a ding in it. One of the mounts has a section that hasn't been painted correctly. It appears to have flaked off and even begun to rust, and the holes for the 2x4s are not perfectly square. They are slightly bent, in other words. It's difficult to fit a 2x4 into them as a result of this. The item I received was clearly refurbished or returned, and it was not brand new. br>br>I will not buy anything from any seller who currently sells these items, even if they are fulfilled by Amazon.
