A lot of effort went into researching this firepit cover for Endless Summer. It was outdoors through winter and summer (we live on Long Island, New York) and the original cover lasted 3 years. Our company ordered a replacement cover from the firepit importer. We were very impressed with the original. I paid more than $30 for it and was horrified when I received it. There was not much thickness to it as a sandwich bag zip lock. Return the cover as soon as possible. My first step on Amazon was to buy the cover. I am very glad I did so. A perfect fit with leg ties for those who are not able to wear pants Blowing off safety is not a good idea. With reinforced seams and overlapped material, this piece is nicely stitched. Since the construction of the building looks wonderful, I am willing to bet on it! A small suggestion, as I didn't do it(dah), is to spray it (2 coats) with a good water repellent before using it.

To replace the cheap one that came with our fire pit, I got this fire pit cover. I've been very pleased so far with the durability. This model sheds water well, stays in place even during windy days, and fits well. It is nice to know the anchor straps that go around the leg of the pit have been installed, although we haven't needed to use them yet. Here is a suggestion for you. The center of the cover of the fire pit was surrounded with a tennis ball. raises the cover, allowing the water to drain better and reduces the amount of water puddled on top of it.
