Are the 36" covers actually 36 inches by 36 inches?

From seam to seam, the top measures 35 1/2" in length and the sides measure 23 1/2" in length. The firepit I have measures 36 1/4" in diameter and even though it is tight, it manages to fit. While it's tall enough to fit a 36 1/2 inch firepit, I'm not sure it would fit one that's 36 1/2" wide. I have one that is that tight.

A 7-dollar bill. Can it be true that it's only 99 dollars for the 50"x24"? This is too good to be true, but we're super excited to tell you it's not a scam I think it's fantastic! As it covers my patio table and not a fire pit, and as it does not reach the bottom of the legs of the table (the four chairs are on top of the table), it still provides more than enough protection that exactly matches my needs. Additionally, I bought 2 covers to cover an egg chair, and again, even though they are not 100% covered, 95% covers are good enough for me, and the price of 2 ($16) is a fraction of the price of an actual egg chair cover! As for the straps, they seem sturdy enough, and a drawstring at the bottom will allow you to get the bottom tighter if you need to. I am a fan. The weather hasn't been warm enough to rain yet, so an assessment of its waterproofness cannot be made.

The middle of the fire pit collapses and accumulates water, which is a pain to remove and it is a pain to install.
