There is a lot of water in the tank
5/5

It was sort of funny my first reaction when I turned this pump on. It was incredible to see the consistency and volume of the flow. My Nelson 9 and my Nelson 9 together make the perfect combination. It looks amazing how natural the waterfall spillway is, with its 5 inch height. There is no better feeling for me and my wife. I can't hear it running as far as noise is concerned. I haven't taken the time to evaluate its energy efficiency, but I like the fact that it comes with a filter bag to go around the pump that keeps large objects from getting caught in it. This unit has met my expectations, and unless it fails me in the near future, I am very pleased with it.

This program does what it should, but there is too much noise
3/5

My previous pump worked fine for more than a decade until I bought this 2000 gph output pump. In terms of water flow, this looked like a near replacement, and my main concern was the amount of pressure. The flow is great, but as others have mentioned, it makes an audible humming noise. It's not so loud that you hear it right away, but once you notice it, you cannot help but notice There is still a faint buzzing sound of the pump running even with the sound of 2300 gallons per second of water falling down the water fall. The pump continues to hum even after I've adjusted the insulating material around the pump so that it is completely insulated from the skimmer sides. Although it pumps the water well, I wouldn't buy another device for the sake of a tranquil water garden. The waterfall in the video is still a work in progress, so please excuse the pile of rocks behind it!.

I used it for my 600-gallon koi pond and it worked perfectly
5/5

I am replacing my old Aquascape 3000 GPH koi pond pump, which died after 6 years. After soaking in water filled with plants and algae for all those years, the motor finally gave up. The Pump Boss Waterfall Pump got a thumb's up on Amazon, so I decided to check it out. My attention was probably caught by the price tag of $97. A quick installation with an adapter fitting from Home Depot per my existing 1 1/2" PVC pipe resulted in the pump being inserted under water inside the skimmer box. When the enclosed filtering net was placed around the pump and the power cord was plugged in, the Pump Boss 2300 GPH pump started making its own water. There was a flow of water towards the pond basin from the fountain area. Although the suction power was not as strong as the old 3000 GPH pump, I still considered it adequate. Yet, the pump does what it is supposed to do very well at a very reasonable price. After having used this pump for one month, I am very satisfied with its performance.

It is a good value and performs well
5/5

I am very pleased with the pump's performance so far. It easily pumps water up to the head of a waterfall in about four feet. My flow has actually been adjusted down slightly through a separate regulator valve so that it is more natural. My first experience with it was that it was easy to set up, but so far I've just been using the provided filter bag instead of a filter box however, I might change that if I find a box small enough. There are probably only a dozen goldfish in the pond, but they are happy with the waterfall, even though its size is only 400 to 500 gallons.

As stated, the pump operated as it should, except for the excessive noise
3/5

Quiet is not to be found here! Here is what I have to say The pond is built into the deck and has a capacity of 1300 gallons. Construction consists of four 4 X 4 boards. The aerator, the skimmer, and the waterfall. Koi and gold fish total 30. A 1200 gph pump was replaced by this pump, not due to failure, but to increase the flow of water through the waterfall to the skimmer, with the hope that this would keep the surface cleaner and, by default, the pond more clean. In the process of replacing the aquarium I investigated an automatic feeder for the fish considering their Following the replacement, I noticed the pump was making a loud hum, so I cushioned it with large sponges and it went away. As I sat watching the water flow to the skimmer I was impressed with the amount of water coming from the falls. On the first day, the fish did not eat much. There was a difference in the clarity of the pond. On the second day, the fish ate little on the second day. I could hear the hum 50 ft away, but it did not concern me. Three days later, the hum was even louder, and when I stepped on the deck, it was vibrating really loudly, and the fish would not eat at all. They huddled together on the bottom and would not swim in and out as they normally would. When I opened the skimmer, I found that it had a lot of uneaten food (which never happened before) as well as A cause of death for the fish has not been determined. As far as I can tell, it followed the food into the skimmer and was unable to As soon as I switched the pumps, I noticed a difference. My fish are now eating me out of house and home two days in a row. In my experience, this pump is not a good choice if you have a small pond with rigid sides like mine. If your pump is located far from your pond, or if you have a large pond with diffused vibrations, then maybe you can consider this pump. The following were some of the things I liked In comparison with other 2000 gph pumps, we compared the size, mesh bag, pumping power (suction and flow), and price. There were several things I didn't like about the game HUMIDITY, VIBRATION, TRAUMATIZED fish,.

Having researched extensively before buying, I am sure you will be pleased with my The pump pumps water by pushing it up 15' in length and through 30' of one inch tubing without issue. There is a lot of silence in the apartment. Thanks for the pump. I love it.

Everything seems to be going well so far. My fountain is pond less - I bought this for it The Aquascape brand pump, which is twice as expensive, needs to be replaced. Until now, it has been working great, it is quiet, and the price is.
