Questions & Answers

Can you tell me how high the lift can go?

There was one of these pushing water up four stories, but I am not aware of the maximum rating. The water is spread out over 5 ft and 28 ft horizontally with 6 outlets. The pump worked, but we needed a bigger one to fulfill our needs. One of the downsides of this pump is that it does not have standard threads. There will be no use for PVC threaded items. As long as you use hose, you should be

The intake side of the pump can be fitted with a filter by placing a hose there?

If you remove the filter assembly, you will find a 3/4" NPT thread (standard in the U.S.). My 3/4" npt adapter is threaded the same way as a hose.

Can it be connected to a waterfall box with tubing or a hose of an appropriate size, and is it powerful enough?

The hose attachments were available in several sizes on mine. A fraction of an inch to a full inch is contained within a compartment. I guess it would have to be a small box and the height would have to be enough. With one of them, I established a rain garden and the rules I follow were for every hundred GPH you can go up a foot but the higher you go, the less water comes out. It's only 2 feet big into an upper pool, so I get a two-inch deep overflow that's about a foot wide. It is my hope that this helps.

My normal policy is not to read reviews, but for this pump, I felt it was essential
5/5

Reviewing pumps is not usually my thing, but when I saw this one I thought it was better. There has been no end to what I have done with this pump. Since July 2016, we have completely removed the foam filter and have just been letting her buck swim in a pond. As a result, I had to place it inside a bucket full of dish scrubbers which I had made myself. I would let my bucket clog and starve my water falls of moisture for days until they consisted of a trickle of piss. This was cleaned again and it was 100%. I now just toss it in the pond without the bucket and pull the gunk from the grate periodically. I left for a few days, and the intake got so full of sludge that the pump was unable to get water to work. This blew out the ground pin on my extension cord and tripped the circuit My pond came right back to life once I shook out the sludge and swished it around. She started cranking right up full speed and hasn't stopped. The pond is under a tree, and it is home to two geese and two ducks that live there all day and poop in it. He is a beast when it comes to the pump.

Despite the long time since it started spinning, it still continues to do so
5/5

One or two times a year, I spend at least 100 It is $150 to buy a pump, and then it stops rotating after a year. There was never a seizeup with any of them. In most cases, the impeller is just vibrated rather than spun. This El Cheapo is what I've ordered since I didn't want to spend that much money on a pump that will die. The first thing I did was to remove the filter in its entirety and place the pump in the same pump box as usual. A shoe box-sized box with a perforated top and hole in the middle allows hoses to run down into the box from above. The water in my pond has always been clear, however there is some algae in it. It is mostly free floating algae and there is some stringy algae in the water, so as long as I do not tamper with the gravel filter, the water is crystal here's something I want to share with you. Putting a filter on the inlet of that pump would lead to it plugging up with algae in a day or two. When the filter is not in place, I cannot run it for two or three months before having to put the pump back together and flush it. The assembly and disassembly of this table are quick and simple. As a matter of fact, the perforations on the top of the box get The pump does not need to be cleaned very often.

Installed for less than 48 hours, and then it failed
3/5

I purchased this pump when I set up my hydroponics. Served as a gift, the box was shipped to a friend in Arizona, then it was sent to Croatia - all customs and import fees were paid. The pump was no longer working 48 hours after it had started. The central axis of the device is broken, as I noticed when I took the part apart. There is no risk of this axis breaking since it is enclosed in a strong magnetic field. To break like that as a result of design or material low quality, it must be of really poor quality. Additionally, there is no contact information listed on the Active Aqua website for customer service, so I couldn't get in touch with them for a replacement part.
Keep in mind that people often leave positive reviews shortly after they installed If you look at these pictures, you can see that this pump will fail It doesn't help either when there is no customer service.

It lacks important information in both the description and the I've tested it at 3 foot head and 3/8 inch inside diameter tubing, and it seems to run quietly and have quite a bit of power
4/5

It came with two outlets of nonstandard diameter, about 1/2 and 3/4 inches. Neither standard tubing fit or was forced into place, but a 3/8 inch ID could be used. 1 1/2 inches wide and 1/2 inch tall. With a lot of work and heat I was able to lift a small one over the larger one. After reading review and product descriptions for several days, I was unable to determine head capacity or outlet size because different models were compared together and gave conflicting information. I think, in terms of pump, the product info is about as useless as it gets. Unless otherwise noted.

The reliability of the data is questionable
3/5

A second pump like this has been purchased by me. Prior to its death, the first survived for several years. In contrast to its predecessor, the new pump started making noise after just one month after purchase. When I looked into it further, I realized that something in the pump was interfering with the impeller, which caused the pump The customer support line has been contacted. I will update the status when I learn more. As an update, I added a star as soon as I contacted them, they offered to replace the product. They believe the impeller magnet is not working properly. A couple of updates Had to remove stars from the update. A year after it was installed, the pump lost so much power that it could not be used anymore. The worst part of all this is that I use it to run a hydroponic planter which runs about five-tenths of a watt The store is closed for six months of the year and keeps stored inside during the remaining six months.

There is a problem with the pump
3/5

I ordered this and waited more than a week for it to arrive. Of course, it was broken when it arrived. Still, I need to review it a little more. There is much to be pleased with I was pleased with the way the pump arrived. The adapters came in a variety of sizes to fit different pipes. There is an adapter for an aerator, but it is only for 3/4" pipes. I'm not sure why they thought this was the only size pipe where an aerator would be useful, but at least it comes Currently, there is a pre-production process going on within the organization With the pump you will find a filter. from a washable foam material, so it should last for quite a while. There's also a bag of o-rings in the package. A paper instruction sheet and suction cup feet are included in addition to the rings. The overall setup is pretty comprehensive. There's no good in this Let's leave for now the part that is completely broken. In fact, the cord is not My guess is that it is six feet long, but I did not measure it. If you have a large pond, you would expect a 1000 gph pump to go into it According to its manufacturer, the center of this pump wasn't designed for It's not likely to last, as the plastic housing for the internal filter is thin, clipped to the main housing in a way that isn't all that secure, and I am afraid that it will separate in the water. Generally, I would say that about this pump is mediocre. I would rate it a 3 if it did work and could really push the volume that is promised An accommodation that is rated four stars. I discovered the broken part for the unit. The impeller got in without a cover, and the shaft of the impeller There is probably a cover made of plastic beneath the impeller and the impeller shaft was made of If they used better materials and stopped breaking things, that would be great. In my opinion, this pump is not recommended.

Worked great for me
5/5

In order to replace a 1000-watt pump, I bought this one Pump that was much larger than this one, was a 150 GPH Little Giant pump. My hypothesis did not work out as well as I thought it would, The program has so far been a great success. The waste paper was placed in a mesh waste paper basket and wrapped in batting as a filter for the pond, and the pond was clear within 2 weeks. It would be a good idea to.
