This was my solution! I cut a piece of sponge I can hold in place with rubber bands, and it is very effective! Two weeks ago, after having it running for two weeks, I decided to clean the sponge myself, even though it did not really need cleaning. However, the water pressure and flow of water with this filter system are great. This is a highly recommended product!.

In the beginning, the situation was like that. A new version of Noisy is now available! That is such a disappointment for me. For the construction of my fountain, I went through a lot of work. The pump has been installed. It had power and was able to be adjusted easily. I was impressed with how quiet it was. I'm so happy! A few weeks (actually after about a day after the return window expired) of intermittent use (a couple of hours a day), the motor started to 'humming' to a point where it nearly overpowered My removal of it came to an end. After cleaning it (only had one decomposed leaf in it), I put it in my sink full of water to see how it would perform. No change in the noise level. The buyer who suggested I place a thin piece of sponge on the intake (where the flow adjuster is) explained it to me as a way to eliminate any clogs. I have again tried it. No change in the noise level. It's wonderful having a water feature in my house. Yet if the pump is whirring, what is the use of taking a picture of it? In addition, I cannot return the item. The Pooh character. BREAKING UPDATE! The best customer service ever! My new pump was shipped the same day I contacted them. I was extremely pleased with the prompt response. As such, it has been given a rating of four Once I install it, I'm going to see if it's quiet like the old one already was in the beginning. My rating will be upgraded again to a 5 star. I appreciate knowing that there are companies out there that seem to genuinely care about their customers. The water feature I have is what I love about my home, so I'm thrilled to get this added. The fountain pumps I've had over the years have all been different. The headphones were one of the noisiest I have ever heard. I figured it was a pandemic, so I figured I should lump it together. I ignored the noise since it was outside and noticed the flow of traffic was significantly slower than it had been. The clog was cleared and the unit was returned to the customer. When I plugged in the back, it still ran slowly. I continued to run it for two more days, and then the flow slowed to a trickle, then stopped completely. Nevertheless, there was still a lot of noise! My luck, it failed with just two days to go before a return credit was due. The ship is in the process of returning. It will be another brand I try.

The quality of the hardware was just installed, so it is difficult to judge its durability at this point, so I put a "3" for that, but the rest With several feet of hose, rubber feet, and hose suction cups, this unit was easy to install. It took me three minutes to get it set From the pump to the outlet of my 20 gallon outdoor fountain, there is only an eight inch lift. This fountain pump literally shoots water across the pool when it is running full. After turning my flow aperture down to almost closed, I was able to get it back to my average flow rate, which I believe is The new pump has more power than the old one, even when turned down. This product seems to be of good quality and come with simple instructions (although they mention that it may be necessary to change the impeller after a "long time," but don't specify where and how to do that). As long as I get a few years out of it, it doesn't matter to me personally. I'll follow their instructions on how to clean it internally and then buy another if it fails.

In fact, the power is a little too high even on the lowest setting for my pond. Although the pump is a wonderful little device, it easily gets blocked by debris due to the way that it suctions in. I am sure it would clog within five minutes regardless of how easy it is to clean. For our purpose of preventing a clog, Jimmy rigged a piece of foam filter from a previous pump and covered the intake area. Everything seems to be going well. The only reason I gave it three stars was because of that. There needs to be some kind of fine profiler or else it will be of no use. Despite its shortcomings, this pump is really good.

A great deal of suction power and virtually no noise are the traits of this pump. I can only hear the water's sound when the pump runs. This is a great pump and I highly recommend it. Due to the fact that I just installed it, I could not rate its I'm not sure how long it would last, but I imagine it would last quite some time!.

Everything seems to be going well. My first step after receiving the package was to lay the tubing out in the sun for a day to get rid of all kinks before installing it. In my case, once I turned on the pump in the fountain for the first time (whatever setting I chose), we got the desired water flow. A very excited and pleased Mrs. is there. Despite its small size, we use it daily and enjoy listening to the sound of the water trickling down. The pump is so quiet that I cannot even hear it. This is a fantastic product, and I highly recommend it.
