I received this 20x20 net the other day and was eager to hang it so that I can keep leaves from falling into the However, when I stretched it out, it was quite different from what I had Approximately 12x17 feet is the size of the pond. As advertised, one side of the table was approximately 20 feet long, but when it was stretched out the other way, it was only 15 feet. The fabric tore several places as I tried to adjust it so that it covered 2o x 20. The weather this winter is not looking good, so I am not expecting it to hold out till the end. "Heavy duty" is definitely not what it appears to be. If I had spent the extra bucks to purchase a different brand, I would have.

Measuring 20x20 is shown on the product. 18 x 22 is probably closer to the truth. thought it was 24x24 when I ordered. I had to stretch it out really far and it only covers a 20" A remnant of debris was still able to get into the pool despite the uncovered gaps on the side and the stretched netting. I didn't find it worth it.

Using the netting in a different situation is my job. Bushes grow low to the ground, and their leaves stick to the ground, making it hard to blow them away. In the fall, I stretch the netting over the bushes when the leaves begin to fall. There are just so many leaves that the netting gets blown away. If you pull the netting off the bushes, you can easily remove the ones that sit on top. The leaves on these bushes can be cleared away in a much more efficient and time-efficient manner. I have only one issue with this net, namely the leaves can get through the holes too easily. A pond net functions to collect fish and other aquatic life, i. e. , its main purpose.
