For the winter, we use it to cover the waterfall and pond.
There is no weaving involved, and the material is In most cases, any ball (golf ball, baseball, softball) will break through a backstop if it is used for that purpose. You could throw a frisbee into it and it would catch it.
My pellets don't go through well when I feed them. As I'm tossing the food under the net, I adjust the net above the water so it sits above the water.
The low and the high It is possible to use floating plants, such as water lilies, that are anchored in the water. These plants can be grown along the edge, with the netting around them, but would not thrive in the open net. It is cheap and easy to handle. Several varieties exist. A weaved and high-quality mesh has been preventing small twigs from entering, and the smaller openings are keeping them out fairly Our 15x20 net is secured by long, coated staples of good quality, but we could have used a few more staples to use as a backup. All in all, the purchase was a good one, cost competitive, and delivered very quickly.
Since I don't have koi (but I have a waterfall and pond), I've used several different types of netting to keep leaves from my pond and waterfall. There was no doubt that this was the most user-friendly. It does not tangle at all, and the holes in the net are too small for an acorn to fall through. Since I use metal staples instead of the plastic spikes I used before, I enjoy using them as much as I did. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a good deal. As I have only had the pond netting for a few weeks, I cannot comment on its durability, but so long as it does not crumble to pieces over the winter, I will not buy another brand of pond netting. Then and now.
We buy this mesh from the big box stores because it has a tighter weave. It's just a matter of rolling it out, trimming it to fit, and pinning it. Even on windy days, it has been able to stay put. In regards to durability, I only gave it 5 stars because we have only had it for a short time. I will wait to see how it holds up through the winter before deciding on the number of stars. Thank you for your response.
I should have estimated the square footing of my coy pond more accurately while I was sitting in my basement ordering the netting from Amazon, but this is enough netting to last a lifetime. Spikes and netting are now providing me with adequate protection in my backyard.
It's nice, but it would be better if the spikes were longer and more numerous. I think it is a good bargain for the price. So far, it is the best one I have found.
This is the best pond netting that I have purchased from Amazon. I have purchased 2 to 3 in the past. This game has big stakes and a big net. A circular pond (9 feet in diameter) is in front of my house. This is fitting in my pond after I folded the 20 foot length in half. There is a double layer of netting on top of that. While it took me a few minutes to stake it down by myself, it looks amazing.
For the third time in a row, I've reordered. Are there any more words I can say about that? My reorder means I am happy with it.
I can't speak to its durability though, as I've only used the netting a month now. In general, it has kept leaves out of the large koi pond, but it has not eradicated them completely. It is important to note that pine needles will fall through holes in pine trees. There is a good product here, though you will need someone to help you stretch it and anchor it. Despite their size, the spikes are durable.
