Are you unfamiliar with the term anorn? br>Acorns, to be precise. Yes, if that is the case. They won't be able to get through the netting.
They certainly have the ability. Last summer, I had my pond fenced in. There were no issues with the fish. Raise the netting an inch or two above the water's surface if possible. The food will float in the water after falling through the net. To keep the net above the water, I used hooks all around the pond's perimeter. The water will circulate more freely, and the net will be less likely to become clogged with food and other debris.
Yes, it can also be used to deter birds from entering the garden.

I had to pull the netting taut and secure it with blocks, but the net showed no signs of breaking down.
It's easier to cut it shorter because of the way it's rolled up. It only took a few minutes to set up the stakes. It took me a long time to figure out how to do something with my old method. The stakes should be packed in a separate bag if you don't want it in the water, and it's easy to adjust if you don't want it in the water. They become entangled in the fabric and are difficult to remove.
We hung these under our fruit trees to keep the dogs from eating the apples and plums that had fallen. (ps. Dogs shouldn't eat plums because they are poisonous. They get diarrhea when they eat apples. ) Works great, especially when made into conical shapes with a hole over a garbage can.
Our needs are well-served by the size of the space available. I cut it in half in the end. The only disadvantage is that the spikes are prone to breaking. I made do with the smaller tent spikes I had on hand. Overall, the usability is excellent.
Every year, leaves would blow into the water and sink to the bottom of my small backyard fish pond. It was simple to put up the netting. Because this is the first year, I couldn't give it a rating for durability, so I gave it a 3. However, it appears to be well-made, and I believe it will last for many years.
Ducks and egrets are kept out of my pond by this fence.
I like how simple it is to set up and take down this net from our pond. It keeps the majority of debris out of the water and gives the fish some shade. We've had this net for about a year and it's performed admirably in the face of the elements.
This netting was the ideal size for our pond, which measured 6 feet by 10 feet. It's big enough to cover the pond's water as well as the sides of the rock wall. This winter, no leaves will fall into the cracks in the rocks! The stakes were useful for securing the netting around the perimeter.
