It is a well made bag that is large and well constructed. The three of us can fit. I packed three 15-pound bags of lava rock into one bag with plenty of room for additional items. Good quality material is used for the bags, which are closed with a drawstring. At the time of ordering, I was a little concerned about them because lava rock is so sharp and they were not expecting much at this price, but I am well pleased with them. It's likely that I'll be using these bags for many years to come.
The package was received in good condition. This product seems to be designed to be used in the outdoors as it is made of good quality material. I filled each bag with one cubic foot of ice and ordered two bags. K3 filter media measures 2 feet by 2 feet. There are still plenty of rooms left in the hotel A bag should be able to hold about 2 cubic inches. The dimensions of this media are easy to comprehend. Up to date As of August 9, 2017, I have bought 2 more media bags in order to add 2 cubic feet. There is now a total of ft of K3 midia in my filtering system (the fish are growing rapidly). The same good quality materials are still used.
Using it for my fountain pump, I could make four bags out of it. Although it's a bit big, I think it will be adequate for the use I had in mind for it.

The nylon mesh net is an example. I don't think it belongs in my pond pump because it's much too big. I made it to a bag of four my wife made it to a bag of five.
A large pond would fit in these holes. There is a lot of space in the bag. The size is approximately 24" x 24". The holes in the bag are much larger than the ones in previous pumps. Despite the fact that leaves go right into holes, clogging is not really prevented by them. There are no problems with the quality.
