Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
Accurate: Top-of-the-line premium sensing with unrivaled accuracy of 1. 5%RH ±0 ±0 ±0 ?%B 1°C / 0. 0 degrees Fahrenheit, 18 degrees Fahrenheit 012inHg. Professional-grade components are assembled in the United States to create devices you can trust, and the device can be easily calibrated to a trusted reference for even more demanding applications. You'll have reliable, high-quality monitoring of environmental conditions such as air temperature, relative humidity, barometric pressure, dewpoint, and VPD in either case.
The HTP. is water-resistant, splash-proof, and weatherproof, protecting the sensor from rain and dust. xw can be found in a refrigerator, freezer, greenhouse, humidor, wine cellar, instrument case (guitar or violin), piano, outside as a mini weather station, in a baby nursery monitoring a humidifier or thermostat, in an attic, basement, crawlspace, reptile tank, terrarium, plants in a grow tent, drying and curing, a chicken coop or egg incubator, and more.
Use the sensor alone with your phone via Bluetooth, or add a SensorPush G1 WiFi Gateway (sold separately) for data and alerts over the Internet. Get updates and push notifications from anywhere with the SensorPush Gateway and Cloud, or ask Alexa for updates if conditions exceed the min/max alarm settings. It's the ideal solution for a vacation home, garage, server room, data center, ensuring the safety of a dog or other pets in an RV (cellular hotspot required), or anywhere else where remote monitoring is required.
Powerful: A 325-foot line-of-sight Bluetooth range keeps you connected even when you're on the other side of the house. Obstructions such as walls or doors will reduce this, often significantly, but customers happily monitor difficult situations such as walk-in coolers, safes, inside a wall, or even on a roof every day in real-world conditions. The sensor's small size, convenient mounting slot, and long battery life (typically over 2 years) make it easy to place one or more sensors where they're needed the most.
Setup is simple and only takes a few minutes with our free app (iOS or Android). View a digital summary of current conditions for all of your SensorPush devices in a single glance. Drill down even further with integrated data logging and graphing, including 45 days of sensor storage and unlimited in-app storage for unlimited devices using our custom-built high-performance database. With Excel, Google Sheets, and other spreadsheet programs, you can easily export any data recording to CSV for analysis or archival, and then calibrate it.

Questions & Answers

Is the battery in this new model identical to the one in the previous model?

The CR2477 3 volt lithium battery is used in this device.

Is there a sensor for indoors and a sensor for outdoors included with this?

One sensor is all there is. Whether it's inside or outside, It's suitable for almost any situation. br>It also keeps track of the past. It works with a phone app and allows you to test your fridge, freezer, garage, bedroom, and outside. br>However, if you want to know the temperature both inside and out at the same time, you'll need two thermometers.

Is there anyone who can attest to how accurate these are right out of the box? I'd prefer to avoid having to calibrate anything. Thanks?

This unit has been very consistent with the rest of my professional-grade equipment. gauges for the grade In comparison to my RainWise system and the local NWS, the barometer is always accurate. The temperature is also consistent. Temperature and humidity will always fluctuate due to airflow and location, but I believe it is extremely accurate. I own seven SensorPush units, and they've all worked perfectly in freezers, refrigerators, and offices.

Is it possible to connect it to Apple Home without the use of an intermediary device?

The only way to communicate with the Sensorpush HTP,xw is to use Blue Tooth LE (LE = Low Energy). A Sensorpush App is required to collect the data, store it, and/or use it to create a graph. This app is primarily designed for smartphones that run on the iOS or Android operating systems. So, if you can install and use an app like this on your Apple Home system, it will work. I'm using an Android phone, and it works much better than I expected over a longer distance. Each minute of data collected by the sensor can be stored for up to 40 to 50 days. This data will be transferred to the phone as soon as it is within reach. You can export this information to your computer from there. Even at a lower data rate, such as one data point per hour, or whatever interval you choose, there is an alternative method that uses a specific gateway device, also provided by Sensorpush, that converts Blue Tooth data via Wifi to the internet and then uses it elsewhere.

The new sensor models HT do not have dashboard support
3/5

w and HTP are two words that come to mind when thinking of w and H Is it really true that you can "access your SensorPush Sensor Data from Anywhere via the Internet"? – NO, YOU ARE NOT PERMITTED. Is it possible to use the features that it is advertised to have? You are not permitted to do so. br>br>If you go to SensorPush's website and look at the dashboard, you'll see the following message: "Support for the new sensor models HT in the dashboard. " br>br> w and HTP are two words that come to mind when thinking of w and H By the end of the month, xw should be available. "br>br>The message is not dated, and there is no mention of the "next month. " Who knows how long this message has been on the counter? br>br>That's not cool. SensorPush is not to my liking.

The additional cost is well worth it
5/5

Yes, it is more expensive than other sensors (I own two other brands), but it is well worth the extra money. This sensor is extremely accurate, and it transmits data to the app quickly, as well as having a long battery life. I just set up the WiFi Gateway so that I can keep an eye on the sensors (two indoor and one outdoor) while I'm not at home. The app is easy to set up and has a pleasant user interface. It was also very simple to set up. I emailed the company to inquire about future features and products, and within an hour or so, I received a very courteous response. 'Made in the USA' is the cherry on top.

Significantly improved performance and dependability
5/5

I have two SensorPush sensors that I use to remotely monitor the conditions in my indoor grow tent. Unfortunately, they didn't always agree, and I had to adjust the calibration on a regular basis. br>br>I decided to try the new, much more expensive HTP. xw sensor, which represents a significant advancement in terms of reliability and performance - This new sensor provides near-real-time feedback. It keeps track of time (updating every minute), barometric pressure, and water resistance (my humidifiers were causing the older sensors to malfunction). The bluetooth signal is also much stronger, allowing me to read the sensor in my garage grow tent from anywhere in the house. br>br>They also have excellent customer service - I had an issue with my order, and their online representative responded the same day to my email, and then followed up to make sure I was satisfied. These guys have exceeded my expectations!.

Device that is both accurate and affordable - Excellent value for money! OK- It's taken a long time for this to happen
5/5

Before forming an opinion, I made certain that I had used these devices for nearly 90 days. It's the only thing that makes sense. br>br>I bought the SensorPush HPT. In early February of this year, I purchased an xw device and installed it a few days later. I had some installation and configuration questions, so I contacted the Customer Service Department. My questions were fully answered, and I was given additional information that was extremely useful. I contacted them again for a different reason, and the representative not only remembered my previous conversation, but he also quickly resolved the current issue on his end. This is 100% commitment to our customers - as is customary in the Amazon - You won't be able to find anything like it anywhere else. br>br>Now for the device: I simply attached the sensor to my air conditioner frame, which extends onto a covered porch, with a thick cable tie. Of course, once the weather warms up, this will change! I double-checked that the device was hanging freely; would not be exposed to the sun directly; as well as the direction in which it would face the prevailing wind For accurate RH and DP readings, the latter is crucial. It was simple to connect it to a Bluetooth smart device. br>br> But what made it even better was connecting it to the SensorPush WiFi Bridge, which allows me to access readings from anywhere I have Internet access. Aside from power, all I needed was a simple cable to connect to my router, and I was up and running in seconds. The device's range to the Bridge is quite good, and it should work in the vast majority of situations. Also, I have a second SensorPush device, the HT, which I'm using. In a stone cellar, I needed to keep track of my well water system. This notifies me as soon as the temperature approaches the freezing point. If I am not at home, the Bridge will issue a warning, and I will be able to take appropriate action. br>br>At this point, let's talk about precision. Over the course of several days, I put the devices to the test with professional grade mercury thermometers. Aside from the cold, I made it a point to do this now that the weather is getting warmer. I discovered that the accuracy was within one degree of the calibration thermometers' readings. They weren't in the same place, to be sure. However, for the vast majority of applications, this is close enough. br>br>I double-checked the DP and RH readings by comparing the sensor's data to a sling psychrometer, which I used over several days to ensure accuracy. The distinctions were minor once again- a degree or two on each side of the professional instrument It's possible that the sensor is more accurate as a result of the use of a wet bulb / dry bulb comparison chart, but in any case, no one should be splitting hairs over these readings. The proofing of the barometer was a little more difficult. br>br> I took the sensor, as well as two temperature-adjusted precision aneroid barometers, to the local airport, where they were all calibrated to the tarmac pressure. I then drove back to my house and installed all three in the same location. Elevation caused the readings to drop by more than an inch, as expected. I've since set the sensor to the "meteorological" option for sea level indication, which all three agreed on and continue to agree on to this day. For my purposes, I now have readings from both the station and the sea level. One note- The actual setting of barometric pressure is less important than the trend. If you're close to being precise, the rate and amount of pressure rise and fall are more important than the precise reading. br>br>When compared to other available weather station options: This is a great bang for the buck at under a hundred dollars, in my opinion. It's easy to set up and use, and it has excellent tracking and accuracy capabilities. For those of us who rely on weather as a major factor in our daily lives, an anemometer and rain gauge are urgently needed. I've expressed this desire to SensorPush-it. So, hopefully, they'll respond with even better products. Replacement batteries, by the way, can be found right here on Amazon. There's no need to look for treasure. Simply look up the number CR2477 and snap a photo. These batteries are cheap and last a long time.

When given 48 hours to acclimate, the results are very accurate
4/5

I find that these units are accurate within the manufacturer's stated range - 72 hours. But only after the units have become accustomed to their new environment. It took the full manufacturer recommended 48-hours of testing in a 75% salt bag. The units will reach their stated accuracy after 72 hours. And - and this is crucial - DO NOT MOVE THEM IN ANY WAY. These units are extremely sensitive to movement due to their digital/solid state nature. br>br>There does not appear to be a linear relationship between the two variables. Calibrate first in a 75% salt bag for 72 hours. You might need to re- Calibrate first in a 75% salt bag for 72 hours in a 75% salt bag for 72 hour Once you've placed the sensor in its final position, calibrate it a little. I find that temp is near perfect accuracy, whereas RH might require a . 5% adjustment or so so so so so so so The range of Bluetooth is excellent. br>br> In a 2,000-square-foot house, getting a signal past the framing and drywall is no problem. br>br>Analog sensors give accurate results right away and aren't sensitive to movement, but they lose accuracy over time, whereas solid state sensors (while sensitive to movement and placement) should not. As long as you understand the difference between an analog and digital sensor and adjust your expectations accordingly, I think you'll be pleased with these Sensor Push sensors.

Sealed and equipped with a barometer, this is a fantastic upgrade
5/5

This new model is a welcomed upgrade after purchasing several of the previous model for both indoor and outdoor use. The sealed case allows me to put aside worries about water damage or unusual readings. When compared to the previous model, this one pairs up much faster. The barometer function can be used to track fronts and even as an altimeter while hiking. The new user interface is very nice, and it includes a dark mode that will be very useful while camping. Unfortunately, the entire product line is addictive; there are seven older sensors, two gateways, and now three new sensors.
