You mention the original rain gauge, but I wasn't able to locate it. I thought that my glass tube cracked and that I had to buy one that would fit my holder, but it had the wrong height and diameter. These glass tubes met all my requirements and were exactly what I was looking for after comparing several glass tubes.

Seeing a replacement rain gauge to replace the broken one in our other decorative rain gauge was a great surprise to me. There appears to be no damage to the glass, and the markings are readable and clear. The package came with two gauges, so I feel confident that we will have another gauge on hand if the first is lost.
The tube is of nice size and the markings are clear and easy to read. It came with one gauge instead of the two that were supposed to be in the package. As soon as I contacted the seller, I received a significant discount of half. The product was of good quality at a fair price and the transaction was satisfactory.
I highly recommend it as a replacement rain gauge. Despite this, however. There is a tapered look to all the pictures of this item. There are two diameters that are the same. The top measurement is 25" and the bottom measurement is It leads to that evidence as well as 75" at bottom. Here are the two. Included in the top measurement is a lip of 25". The top of these items are NOT tapered, but rather have a larger diameter. There are straight lines going up and down, and the gauge has the same diameter throughout. If the seller provides different, more accurate photographs, this would be better for the buyer Photos that do not skew perspective are not allowed.
Buying one every year is a must for me. The cracking occurs throughout all of the year, even though we bring them in during the Glass that is extremely thin but also easily readable. As far as I can tell, I haven't found one that The price is not too high, so I'm going to.
The durability of the product was poor. Getting cold is something I have to deal with since I live in wny. A thin layer of water froze and broke the bottom of the glass gauge when an inch of water accumulated in it. The glass seemed to be too thin, in my opinion. The second gauge is now a question I am not sure should be installed. This gauge's markings could be read very clearly due to their size and colour.
When a storm came, my mother's gauge broke. I could not find a replacement near me. These are great. I'm very happy to find them. I found them to be just the right size. We got two because the price was reasonable and we wanted to be sure that we covered her in case another one broke! I received them quickly and they were well packaged. It blew out the bottom of this glass when the thaw started the following morning. I think the low-lamp glass may have a thinner coating than my original cylinder, so perhaps it's weaker Glass of high quality.
I was searching everywhere for one like this to replace one I had in a decorative rain gauge I bought Compared with the original, this glass was of a thicker thickness and of the correct size. I enjoy it very much.
