Questions & Answers
Yes, that is possible. I used mounting tape that was designed for use outdoors.
These aren't motion detectors in the traditional sense. They turn on at dusk and, depending on the amount of sunlight, will remain on until dawn.
The box's dimensions are 3 x 3 x 3 inches. 7" X 3. 1" X 3. 1"
3. 7 is from the top to the bottom. 1 X 3. The solar panel is located on the top, and it is very compact. It has dual lights, so it's a little brighter than the other lights I've used before.
They don't have an on/off switch, but they provide nearly 8 hours of light after being charged all day.

Because of the mounting surface (cedar posts), the provided hardware worked perfectly, and the lights are securely attached to my fence. They look great, and I like the low light they provide; if I had to rate this product solely on its appearance, I'd give it five stars. However. The batteries that come with the lights are a disaster! Before passing judgment, I gave the lights/batteries 10 days of direct sun exposure as per the instructions. Let me tell you something. Even so, I was only able to get two or three hours (at most) out of these lights/batteries after doing so. I replaced five of the supplied batteries with Energizer rechargeable batteries before writing this review. The lights with the Energizers lasted until the sun came up; the others did not. I just paid $80 for 32 of these. 00 on new rechargeable batteries, bringing my total outlay to about $200. I like the look and feel of these lights, but I would have chosen something else if I had known about the short battery life; if you plan on lighting a room overnight, you'll need to upgrade your batteries.
We recently installed 16 of these lights on our vinyl fence, and they are absolutely stunning. We didn't want bright lights shining out; we only needed enough to see the perimeter. Because the fence is white, some light reflects off of it, creating a pleasant glow in the backyard. The light's triangle shape is stunning. Around 8 p. m. , the lights came on. They were still on at 5 a. m. after 15 hours of charging in the sun, which surprised me because they hadn't had a chance to fully charge in the sun and were running on the charge they came with. We'll be buying more because of the low price and how nice they look.
Don't let the photos or reviews fool you. I live in the city, not in the mountains or anywhere else where darkness is expected. These lights were purchased to be placed on the back yard post of my fence. To begin with, are motion lights present? I missed that in the description, but I can tell you that they emit very little light, and my back yard is full of sun all day, and I only see a faint warm glow from them. The other party has taken pictures of the lights right up close. Even though it is inexpensive, it is not worth the money. I purchased solar stick lights from The Dollar Tree, which are much more effective.
This is not a criticism of the product; however, because our driveway gate is on the north side of our house, the deck light only receives full sun for a portion of the day (more in the summer when the sun is higher). I'd put these in a location that gets as much direct sunlight as possible.
I didn't want anything that looked like a spotlight, just enough light to keep the space safe and comfortable. The price is extremely reasonable, and the unit itself is of excellent quality. I didn't want to drill holes in the side of the handrail, which is where they're mounted. I bought 3M outdoor 2 sided tape and used it to attach it to the back of each light. They're securely attached to the side of the hand railing around the deck's perimeter. I like how the amber LED light lasts a long time and blends in with the surroundings. If you want a bright light like an indoor lamp, this is not the product for you; however, if you want lighting for safety and ambiance, these are excellent. I recommend these because of their ease of installation, low price, and high quality.
Overall, I don't think it's a good idea. I'm not going to buy anything else. To begin with, they aren't particularly bright. They have a light, warm hue to them. They're teeny-tiny and adorable. They are purely decorative and do not detect motion. They are made of metal and become extremely hot when in use. Two screws are used to secure the item to the fence. These aren't meant to last an entire night. I have another set on at the same time because these aren't very bright, and that other set outshines these. Lasts until the sun rises, motion detection, and a bright light that illuminates the entire area. They were, however, cool in color, and I preferred warm. For the purpose of decoration.
Pictures can be so deceiving! These things don't even compare to a disposable lighter in terms of brightness. neck! It's possible that the light is even brighter now! Don't throw away your money or your time!,,.
Metal is used to construct the housing. They are of excellent quality, and the projected light is flawless! Photographs will be forthcoming.
