Snow will not be melted by our large solar panels on the roof.
Thank you for your interest in our products; the solar lights can be used to light up the pool area.
Ours hasn't attracted any bugs, but we don't live in a particularly bug-infested area.
It is not necessary to remove the screw. The switch is underneath the clear plastic piece that you click off. The light remains fixed in its position.

We purchased two packs of these lights, and while they are simple to install and look good for the price, one of them will not turn on after the installation process. We've requested that the company send us one replacement so that we don't have to go through the trouble of unpacking and repackaging the entire box. I'm hoping for a positive response and compliance. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> We took out the one light that wasn't working, and let me just say right now that you must "turn them on" before you "assemble. " LOL Weird, but when we dismantled it, it was in the off position. We must have done it by accident while putting it together. ) Everything appears to be in order.
I used 5 pound outdoor double stick tape to put it up. As advertised, the lights turn on at dusk and turn off at sunrise. So far, they've been lit throughout the night.
These lights are amazing! I adore them! For my garden and walkway, there is just the right amount of ambient lighting! On the fence, I really like the starburst pattern. This purchase has made me very happy!.
It took a long time to open each one, unscrew the small hardware, change the light settings, and remove the paper so it could charge. On concrete, the sticky stuff that comes with it is useless. There's not much to be surprised about there. br>br>When a few lights fell off the step, I quickly replaced them. I was surprised that the rest of the crew stayed for nearly two weeks. I didn't realize they weren't stuck on, but were delicately balancing, until I realized they weren't. Which I discovered after one was brushed against by a shoe, toppled off the step, and was eventually run over cough* cough*. br>br>However, I lacked the necessary tools to drill them in place as instructed, which would have solved the problem. I was hoping the sticky things were magical, but I guess that was a poor life choice. br>br>Overall, if they all worked, I'd go back and work up the energy to see about drilling them in place, because they look so good (said in frustration). I purchased two packages because I adore the way they look when they're all put together. I'd like to just buy another package to replace the two duds and the one that was hit by a car, but these aren't cheap! Learn from my blunder. br>br> If you keep them in place, it'll be well worth it. I should have returned the package and exchanged it for the two that never turned on. However, I assumed that ship had sailed after the car accident. br>br>If they all worked, I'd give them five stars. I award myself one star for my efforts. br>br>On a side note, I was never aware of motion detection. I'm sure there's something else I'm missing.
These are vibrant and lovely. It is very simple to set up. I wouldn't put it right on the steps, as some people have done. They're thick enough to be a tripping hazard. br>br>A couple of things I'd change: they only last about 6 months. br>br> On a full charge, the battery lasts for seven hours. If you have visitors, they will most likely not stay for the entire time, especially if the lights are turned on at dusk. Furthermore, the switch for turning them on/off and changing from white to color is located in an inconvenient location. br>br>I would definitely buy them again, and I may look into replacing the batteries with ones that last longer.
The lights are lovely, and they're simple to set up.
Two sets were purchased. I really like these lights, but one of them wasn't working and still isn't working after several days in the sun? It appears that there is a flaw. Because I couldn't reach the seller directly, I asked if I could get a replacement and received no response. I'm hoping they respond, because if they don't, I'll have to return everything and start over with a new set. It was disappointing. When/if that happens, I'll post photos and update the review. They are not bright, but rather subdued, which is exactly what we were looking for. For us, they last more than 12 hours. They snap together rather tightly, so I'm hoping they loosen up with use; the price is a little high because they're small (about 3 1/2 inches), so I believe the price should be around $25 for six. But, overall, I'm pleased, and I'll remain so if I can get that one replaced. How long they last will be determined by the passage of time.
