They become slightly sticky, but not to the point of melting.
They aren't melt-in-your-mouth suet cakes, believe it or not.

It's a huge hit with them. My feeder can hold two cakes at a time, and smaller peckers enjoy getting inside. I recently bought a twelve-pack. In less than two days, two cakes have been consumed. It gives me great pleasure to watch them eat. It pays off handsomely. I believe that if it is not too expensive, everyone will be satisfied with this brand; however, I prefer to spend my money on other items.
Our woodpeckers were among the first to notice it, but other birds enjoy it as well. Chickadees, magpies, and jays are frequently seen pecking at the seeds. In comparison to a slew of other big-box store brands, this stands out right away and quickly fades. It also doesn't become a greasy, hard brick. It stays pliable and looks new even if it doesn't melt.
My crew's favorite suet cake is without a doubt this one. When I give them this cake, it's a fight to the death, and I'm lucky if it lasts a day. With the woodpeckers, it's always a big hit! Otherwise, I'll go broke on suet unless I mix in some cheap Home Depot cakes in between.
These suet cakes have made my life so much easier. We have a variety of woodpeckers in our yard, and they all enjoy it. I went from ordering a few at a time to ordering a dozen at a time, and they store well, so I'll continue to use this great product.
I am very impressed with the product's quality and packaging. quality. This product provides the best value for the money that I have found. I would strongly suggest it.
The best suet is produced by pine tree farms. Songbirds, woodpeckers, and, unfortunately, squirrels adore it.
Birds adore this; they constantly bump into each other and can easily go through a block in a single day!.
In addition, there are three downy woodpecker babies. ) have started going there with the mama on a regular basis. This is incredible stuff.
