It's outrageous how hypocritical people can be. This product will never be purchased again by me. It's my fault I didn't check the country of origin when I should have.
I have been providing my chickens with mealworms for quite some time Lately, there has been a shortage of inventory, but I need I gave these Fly Grubs a chance because I didn't have to wait two weeks later to get them (I only had to pay about $1 more per pound) and I could get them when I ran out of mealworms instead of two weeks beforehand. I was told some chickens may take a while to adapt to your mealworms, especially if they are used to the smaller ones. My flock was arguing over pecking order as soon as it tried one. The first chicken tried one, instantly wanted more, and very soon several more were added to it. It has been my experience to use treats to get the chickens back into the coop when I have to go somewhere and cannot keep an eye out for hawks while I am away. It has always been the same shy chicken who would stand on the other side of the yard until I was clear and then take off directly for That's no longer the case. It has proven that even she has been unable to resist them when I shake the bag. It's impossible for her not to grab the rest of them when she comes running with the rest of them. I had a much better reaction to the mealworms than I did to the maggots. We will now use this as a standard practice. No problem, as long as you don't overbuy and end up with a Buying is not a good idea!.
This means that the grubs are fresh and protected from spoilage due to being vacuum sealed. A flock chases after me as I drag my bucket of FLYGRUBS behind me. Because they are bigger than mealworms, they are more likely to eat for a long time. During this time of year (late summer), when most of my birds are molting, I feel good about feeding them these grubs since they are a good source of calcium and protein. My 10 lb of bird feed lasted over a month with a flock of 57 birds (they munch on their snacks almost every day) and there is still plenty left. In the near future, I will purchase more FLYGRUBS!.
Molting is reduced as a result of this supplement. The company's nbsp The chickens in my yard are free-range Most of the animals live on the range, and do not eat any All of these dogs race up to me as soon as they see me heading for the grub bin and grab whichever they can grab. In addition, I have been informed that every chicken goes through a seasonal molt. I have watched my chickens for the last two seasons, but there have been no signs of feather loss. The shedding of last year's is not noticeable, but I am sure it happens. It's possible that the extra protein and the free-radical have a negative effect Optimum health is the result of eating a wide variety of foods. I purchase my BSF grub from both major brands, which are a few BSF suppliers. In general, I turn to these because the cost is about half of what I pay, and I can order them on a recurring It's a great supplement at a great price.
The new FlyGrubs 10 lb box is simply better because there is so much more to enjoy! I have found it to be the only treat that my chickens really enjoy eating and I hand feed them these whenever I can. My philosophy is to create a bond with these birds as a child. And, there is no treat that has worked better than FlyGrubs. I think because they are whole dried grubs, not just grub shells, they are satiated and happy. It is less work for the chickens if I give them less, but I like to see them happy when they eat them, so I frequently give them more! I think the extra calcium causes their shells to be harder and may also change the yolk color of the eggs. You won't want to miss this delicious chicken treat!.
I was let down by the packaging. There is an albino tiger Oscar in my collection. A voracious eater, they devour everything they can get their hands on. They can be difficult to keep full. It is important for me to eat a variety of foods to support a good diet without spending a lot. I feed these fly larvae to my Oscars and they go crazy for them. Proteins and fats are plentiful and it is similar to one of their natural foods. Despite having a ziplock bag that heat sealed to below the resealable zip strip, I had to cut the bag and close it with a clip because it was heat sealed below the resealable zip strip. I'm not sure what to suggest. There were 9 months left from when I received it to when I had to return It's hard to imagine how much dried fly larvae there would be in 10 lbs.
In fact, if I were a rooster (which I have referred to before), I would want my caretakers to feed me these flygrubs. Hands down, these are the preferred treat for chickens. Mealworms look so much filling that they might actually be a healthier alternative to the previous supple creature For as long as I have chickens (or when I build a bunker), I will keep subscribing and saving on these delicious I like the product very much and it is very reasonably priced.
Their hearts beat faster when they see It has actually been my experience that my smaller, younger flock of Ayam Cemani chickens can be quite aggressive about going after the cups I use to sprinkle them around.
