The USA products I found on the website were what I prefer, but when I purchased it, I did not Despite this, the birds seem to really enjoy these mealworms. It's not uncommon to see them in the trees filling feeders as they wait.

The weight of each is 4 pounds. There are 10 bags in a clear plastic bag without any printing and they weight 10 pounds. I just bought two bags for 4 pounds, not 11 pounds as advertised. The bags are almost 1 lb lighter than advertised.
Quite pleased with this! Various small creatures love them, including chickens and critters. Each and every one of them goes.
I was once told that if I put mealworms outdoors, I will get bluebirds. She was right, and our garden is full of birds that love mealworms. Their beauty and the way they lift our spirits after being stuck inside for so long is amazing. There are so many species of birds that enjoy eating these mealworms because they're of such good quality.
Since I've begun keeping chickens, I've bought a lot of meal worms from numerous sources, and my chickens have always scoffed them up immediately. I bought them the same way I have purchased everything else, but apparently, my chickens do not like them. They look similar to everything I have purchased, but don't taste good, either. I see my chickens trying them, then walking away from them. It was not my intention to buy two bags in the hope that either one would be Not at all. To litter the ground unattended and give it no thought is a waste of money.
I love it. Honestly, I am not familiar with the flavor of these, but my poultry loves them. In addition, we mix scratch and crickets with them. You can get so many worms, plus they are so big. There is always a little to look forward to in the mornings. The way I know, is that they squawk at us and as soon as we walk towards their pen, they all run towards us. In the future, I will be getting more of them as I highly recommend them.
They must taste good since I eat them like candy just like the chickens. While the weather is cold, I like to feed the worms almost every day when they are receiving their regular feed. It might be beneficial to add a little protein to their diet.
They will stand and wait for me to sprinkle the worms to their food when they see me approaching. Sprinkle them with every time and they'll eat it all. This is the last.

Eastern Bluebirds have developed a brood of three eggs which are about to hatch in my yard. The brood of four fledges is sitting on the tray feeder munching mealworms while mom is sitting on her eggs. It makes me laugh. This type of worm is loved by bluebirds, mockingbirds, wrens, grackles, brown thrashers, and robins.
