I ordered eight of these perches, but two of them were broken after I opened them. They are made of a soft plastic, and they tear off easily. They are very nice, easy to fill, easy to clean, easy to hang, and the humming birds enjoy them. Otherwise I would have given them full 5 stars. I've had fancy glass feeders that my birds will not touch, but these are the ones they will feast on. Overall, I am very pleased with them and have ordered more to be used.

Even though these feeders aren't as fancy as my previous ones, I know that they won't rust and the hummingbirds are delighted by My new ones have a perch, something my other ones didn't have, and a lot of them have come by to drink. My dogs love these feeders and I appreciate the fact that they are easy to clean as well. A pair of two pieces for that price was a great deal.

When I ordered, I was a little scared about the feeder's only holding 10 ounces. Upon receiving it I was pleased with both the size and the design as it is not good to have the food sit in the sun for a very long time. I thought the perches and bee guards were also very nice. Since I liked the feeders so much, I purchased an additional pack of two.

Having several hummingbird feeders over the years, we have found that this is the perfect amount. The first thing you need to do is replace the hummingbird solution every two weeks The active ingredient is water, but the sugar is 4 to 1 in the solution. The treatment lasts 3 days so it is unlikely that they will go through more than 10 ounces during that time. To fill one bird feeder, mix together 8 ounces (1 cup) of water with 2 ounces of sugar (1/4 cup) and mix into solution ahead of time. You don't need to put red dye in. I just added it to show off in the photos, not to use. In addition, some bird feeders boast 10 feeding ports, so it's amusing to have the ability to feed up to five hummingbirds at once. Their territory is highly competitive, so they will fight amongst themselves. Hummingbird feeders for children and grandchildren are not only an entertaining and useful way to feed hummingbirds, but they are also a nice gift for kids.

impressive to note that they favored one product over another. The first two weren't their favorites, but this one won them over. We have seen a steady stream of hummingbirds feeding on the plants. I can't separate the bottom piece to give it a good cleaning because it's attached to the bottom piece. I cannot get the very bottom to twist off, although it looks like it should be able to. It will take a lot of effort to succeed. Aside from that, this is the feeder that the hummingbirds themselves prefer.

It sounds like an all-plastic construction would be the smartest choice. Snapping together two pieces of the base makes it easy to assemble. It is easy to separate the two by pushing them apart in the middle. It is designed with a snap together base that prevents leaks. You can clean the inside of the bottle with an ordinary bottle brush. A package of two feeders was delivered to me. I originally had just one hummingbird feeder out and would only swap them when it was time to replace the nectar however, I had more visitors so I added the second feeder hope there would be fewer fights.
