Although it wouldn't hurt, it isn't necessary.
Mine work fine, but I've seen this before,,, the inner threads on tank valves can corrode,,,
There is no need for an adaptor because the fitting screws are arranged in a clockwise direction.
Yes, I believe so.

Very effective method for removing weeds from brick paving, but you must keep a safe distance from plants you want to keep, perhaps 12", and point away from desired items. Although you may need some chemicals closer to desirable plants and furniture, this is a cost-effective way to avoid using more expensive and undesirable chemicals. In addition, I bought a Red Dragon CD. To assist with the propane tank, a 100-cylinder dolly was purchased.
It worked perfectly, and we'd buy another if we broke it or burned it by accident. It takes four or five clicks to light, and if it goes out while in use, we simply place it over an existing flame to relight it. It's not an issue.
I use this to "safely" shoot fire balls in my backyard; I'm not sure how well it works for its intended purpose, but it works great for me!.
I was unable to locate a hose or adaptor that would allow me to connect the torch to a propane tank. BUYING THIS PRODUCT IS A MISTAKE!.
I would have returned it if my return window hadn't closed while I waited for the various fittings and adapters (none of which worked) to try to make this thing work! br>With the slightest touch, the gas adjustment broke! Save your money, time, and headaches by avoiding this piece of garbage!.
I attempted a third time on June 13th, but failed. I attempted troubleshooting but was unsuccessful. When I pull the trigger, the gas ignites and blows out. There is no need to change anything. Returning is no longer possible. By a day! No, I'm not going to change my mind.
After receiving it as a Father's Day gift, I put it to use for the first time. I felt cold air on my wrist and quickly turned off the propane tank because the cold air I felt was propane leaking from the hose-to-handle connection. It was impossible to tighten it any further. Unfortunately, my wife ordered it for me, and I didn't receive it or use it until well after the return period had ended. Now I'm stuck with a potentially lethal and ineffective device.
