You can use the flame king as a weapon! I don't know The flame king is what I used to start fires in my fireplace insert. I had been using the benzomatic propane torch before. If the blue bottle included with the benzomatic fits the flame king, you can use it. It can't be beat when it comes to the flame king. I find it easier to use the propane torch than the benzo Between two split, dry logs, I stuff two rolled up pieces of cardboard into my fireplace. Next, place some dead branches or kindling on top of the cardboard. It took me less than 30 seconds to start a roaring fire. Almost every time. A single person. The flame of the device is much larger, so it uses more propane. The little blue tank can be refilled dozens of times by turning a 20# tank with an adapter fitting, but if you are worried, you can use the adapter fitting on a 20# tank to refill it. In order to transfer propane from liquid to gas, you'll need to turn the tank upside down. Gas expands as soon as it is released from the tank. I am totally safe and there is no need to worry. I would like some type of child proof tank valve for the Flame King to make the product perfect. It is away from my four children and I keep it locked up There is no child safety feature on the Flame King, but if there is one, it would be a class of its own. I've warned my 6-year-old about opening the valve even if I leave it out. The price is unchanged at this Can't wait to use it on pesky weeds this spring! It's perfect for starting wood fires indoors or outdoors and I love using it to start fires! I wish I would have bought the FK when I installed my insert three years ago!.

The flames of hell are a joy to watch as those nasty weeds burn as if they were a native of Hell. The fact that toxic chemicals do not need to be used is terrific.

It would be great if the bar were longer so that taller people would not have to lean forward in order to reach the flame. I would definitely buy from them again. I would like to add the following This torch has been in my possession for almost 3 weeks now and I use it every day for 30 minutes at least. There was a lot of weeds in my very large yard after it had been neglected for quite some time. It has worked perfectly every time I have used it, and I have cleared the grounds of all weeds with no problem. We had down pours for a few days and the torch was left outside during that time. When I came back, I was certain that the lighter did not work anymore. It started the torch with one push to my surprise, but I was not expecting that.

My Flame King torch doesn't work after I received it yesterday. It is completely worthless because it cannot light the propane and won't ignite it. Trying to get in touch with the manufacturer, I received The frustration can be avoided if you buy some other brand.

The flame was too small or too weak to knock the weeds out so a steady walk is a really slow walk so grab a chair! I used it only three times before the tip fell off, which in my opinion is the wrong tip for it. There were also no tips for this thing in any online resource I searched. I would expect that at the very least they offer replacement tips, over a variety of choices depending on what you are using the device for.
