There were no signs of loosening the nut since the fins broke. It's been a while since I got a new flywheel and For about half of the cost of a new blower, the leaf blower has been rebuilt and has been working.

A poor quality product I couldn't get it to The flywheel on the leaf blower I purchased was broken and this repaired it

It is made of Chinese cast iron of poor quality. Replacement part matched the old broken part needed to be replaced, but it failed to engage the crank due to poor casting quality. It was cast to small a nub on the flywheel which locks on to the key of the crank. The part had no value as a replacement.
