The hitch plate is a generic option that is extremely simple to set up. I think it'll work with your mower.br>This isn't a particularly sturdy hitch. This device isn't meant to be used with ground-based systems. br>I use it for a dump cart, Aerators deThatcher, and spreader, and it works great.
To make it fit my Gravely ZT HD, I had to drill holes.
On a Gravely zero turn, I mounted this. Easy to drill two holes and install two bolts and nuts.
Standard size, fits most balls; a spacer can be purchased if necessary.

This is a great hitch. I painted the hitch to match the color of my John Deer zero turn mower, drilled holes in the back rail to match the hitch's holes, and bolted it on. My trailer ball fit perfectly into the hole in the hitch. I've towed a variety of trailers around the yard and pasture with no damage to the hitch. However, be cautious when towing a large trailer. When I go up an incline, my mower will occasionally squeal!.
This mount is of excellent quality, is sturdy, and has a nice finish. I used it to move an empty trailer around the yard after mounting it to the round front bumper of a 42" Cub Cadet lawn tractor with a 2" ball. It worked great for me and looks like it belongs on my brand new tractor. Mounting was done with three stainless bolts. The mounting holes and hitch hole diameter should be specified in the description. A troll might give you a bad review because of this. I believe the mounting holes are 3/8 inches in diameter and the ball is 5/8 inches in diameter.
For a hitch for my little cart that I bought at Lowes, the zero turn mower place wanted more than $50. This is a fantastic solution that is also very cost effective. So far, there have been no issues, and it was simple to set up. You will need to purchase your own bolts, and I recommend carriage bolts because the square shape of the hole allows them to lock more securely.
I bought this to go on my John Deere Z425 lawn mower, but it's just a bracket with no hardware, as the description stated. Installation was fairly simple; I drilled two holes and purchased stainless steel bolts, nuts, washers, and lock washers to secure it to the mower. I put a hook on it because I use it to move my chicken coop when I mow the lawn; it connects to a line that I attach to the coop. Bracket is a solid piece of metal; I don't anticipate it bending or failing in the application for which I intend to use it.
I have an older Encore zero turn mower and wanted to add a hitch so that I could aerate my lawn once a year with a plug aerator. br>br>This hitch appears to be well-made, with a powder-coat finish that feels durable. I used two 3/8" bolts to install it, which were a tight but secure fit. br>br>One thing to keep in mind - If you're installing this receiver and your mower didn't come with one, it's possible that it won't be able to tow. That's not the case with mine. It's definitely a risk worth considering, or at the very least double-checking in your manual. br>br>I'll report on the receiver's quality once I've used it, but I expect it to function properly.
I've been looking for a way to add a trailer hitch to my Craftsman Yard Mower without completely removing the grass catcher for years. I primarily use the hitch to haul around a light weight 5x8 Lowe's utility trailer to pick up cut brush and tree limbs I have cut in my yard, and it fits nicely on the support bracket for the bagging system, which gives the hitch much more overall support.
Metal hitch with a very high load capacity. I was concerned about ordering without being able to touch and feel the metal quality. I'm happy because it meets all of my mower-pulling requirements. The Airens Icon x 52 is what I have. I made it work despite the fact that the hole alignment was not perfect.
It's a lot better than the one I got from the Exmart deal. One of the dealer's holes was out of alignment. I would have had to re-drill all of the holes. I ordered it after seeing it and received it in a matter of days. The holes in this hitch matched the hole in the back of my mower that was already there. All I had to do was enlarge the holes on the back of the Exmart so the bolts could pass through, and it was built better than dealers and at a lower price. I'd recommend it because it works great.
