There's more to it than just grass

This hitch point on a zero turn mower allows you to pull things in a wheelbarrow that are too heavy for you to push. Our lawn is 300 feet long and 300 feet wide, with a slight incline. When wifey noticed that returning up hill was taking longer and rest periods were becoming more frequent, we looked for powered wagons until the light came on, and we added this hitch to our ZT mower. br>I'm still not tired of pulling the lawn cart empty or full with the throttle. br>It takes just a few minutes to set up and then you're ready to go.

It's simple to install; the mounting bolts on my Husqvarna ZTR have a 6" spacing, so it fits perfectly. Then there's the bad news. This was designed to be used with a ball hitch rather than a pin. The trailer coupling does not quite drop on to a 2" ball due to the depth of the adapter. The horizontal section of the adapter had to be bent down about an inch. The trailer coupler must be able to easily drop over the ball, so it must be 3/4" in diameter. An 8" Cresent wrench was used to accomplish this. I was aware that the steel was not particularly strong when I purchased it. Except for the "Heavy Duty," the product was exactly as described. It was a good deal for towing a utility trailer around the yard, and it only adds a few inches to the mower when not towing.

Rugged and of high quality

A leaf plow was constructed. To spread out the force and secure the attachment, I used two of these as push plates at the base. That appears to be sufficient. The metal is about 1/4" thick and appears to be powder coated, indicating that it is of excellent quality.

For my ZTR mower, this was a game-changer. I wish I had purchased this years ago because it was easy to install with my existing bolts. L-shape that is well constructed Very sturdy bracket hitch.
