That should be the case. Perhaps you need to bend it a little to make it
To install this part on the Ryobi trimmer, place it on the motor side. It is part RY15523 that references the trimmer shaft and that is supposed to slide into the trimmer motor's power shaft, which should be clamped with part number 308045012.

believe they are all pretty much uniform and can be fitted to any Ryobi product.
There was a significant price difference between this assembly and the competition. I was very surprised to find out that it striped almost immediately, it was very soft. The threads on the assembly look a lot better even though I haven't used it yet. I will continue to review the review once I replace the assembly. The next step is to follow up. It was to be expected that threads would break again on the stock. It fits very well and is very effective. The stock will be compared to see if it is any better. The product you make Ryobi is of such poor quality that you should be ashamed of yourself.
This replacement replaces the original that broke when I tried to tighten it. There was a problem with the originals—the inside angles pressed against each other, and the lid would not close properly/tightly. With the help of a flat bastard file, you can narrow the inside ridge on your bar so that less stress is put on the screw when they close. It will be familiar to some of you who have experienced Expandit attachments spinning around on you.
It looks way too similar to the original clamp and screw At my local hardware store, I found something similar.
A few years after the original was created, the threads failed. Although I had tried to find a similar threaded bolt at the hardware store, I was unable to find one that I bought this for a low price, and it The attachments stay in place thanks to the secure snap-on design. The price is well worth it if you want to keep things stable and secure.
A few minutes ago, I was on the verge of throwing away my gas trimmer. It did not have anything wrong with it other than the clamp of the attachment coupler being stripped. I wasn't too excited about the idea of removing it. In considering I needed to replace the entire shaft, I decided I might as well just buy a new trimmer, that is until my "tightwad" traits took over and I began searching for my particular model of trimmer and sure enough, the clamp was available The price was reasonable and the shipping was fast, but that's to be expected from Amazon.
My original clamp was rendered ineffective due to a stripped thread, so I had to switch to the Ryobi system. Compared with the original, this is a good replacement. It does what the original did as well or better. The original has to be taken off and the replacement must be installed using some fiddling.
While it is listed for line of gas trimmers with 30CC engines, it will also operate on 40V systems. My only task was to use a rubber mallet to seat the shaft over the shaft from the power head and then I was back in business. In less than $5 you can get the $150 set of tools back into the hands of the Excellent value for the money.
