It's that easy. Cap should be removed. It will pop off if you press in on both sides of the cap. Remove the trimmer line that has been used, paying attention to which side is facing up. As you replace the line, you'll notice an opening on the side where you can feed some of it through. You're now ready to go. Replace the cap.
I wouldn't be without these spools for a second. They're the best; I have two WORX trimmers that I adore. Instead of using my lawn mower, I use them. There isn't much of a lawn on my property.
The wg175 is something I'm not familiar with. 1 The ones I purchased didn't fit as well as I had hoped. It appears to only work with WORX machines.
Not sure. I couldn't find wg162 in the compatibility list.

Worx makes you buy these tiny spindles instead of the more sensible spools that all other weed wacker manufacturers let you use to spool your own, which is a shame because they work just as well as the original part. Overall, I found this to be the most cost-effective option.
as a result of the fact that I've only been cutting I've only been edging grass for about a month, so I'm still a novice when it comes to yard work. But these spoolers make it easy for me to edge to my heart's content. I edged a different yard that was unkept and hadn't been edged in a few years, and these spoolers held up well when I hit hidden concrete and metal edging covered by weeds and overgrown grass in the unkept yard; these spoolers didn't break, and I didn't need more than two. You don't have to manually string the spooler with these, so they're more convenient. Look out! The edging lady is on her way!.
I have a acre farm and a city home lot, so I have a lot of weeding to do. eating! I go through weed spools after weed spools. (My Worx battery-eating cord-eating cord-eating cord-eating cord-e The powered weed eater will outperform any weed eater out there), so if I had to buy the ones at the big box stores, I'd be in big, big trouble in no time! Thank goodness for this product! I've purchased it twice now, and while I may not do so again until spring, when that happens, I'll almost certainly quadruple (or more) my orders!.
It works just like the one that came with the trimmer, and it's a good deal cheaper. At first, it was difficult to get it to feed through the hole, so I unwound a foot or two and then fed it through. Then I rewound it and put it in place. It was a blunder on my part. For the first few feet, it was tangled. It worked fine once I got past my blunder; these things are wound in a specific way at the factory to make it easy to auto-connect them. feed out. You'll be fine if you don't make the same mistakes I did.
Because the reviews were positive and the price was reasonable, I purchased it. However, the wire keeps breaking and becoming stuck; I have to stop and remove it and reset the wire on a regular basis, which is extremely inconvenient. I'm not sure if all the bad ones were in my package, but if that's the case, it just means I didn't get a good deal. To give something else a try, switch to a different brand.
I had already broken one cap and didn't think I'd need another any time soon, but I'm glad I ordered this set with the cap because my trimmer's cap broke the first time I used it. The new cap is perfect, and I'm still using the spool of thread because it hasn't run out! This is an excellent offer, in my opinion. When I run out of spools, I'll be ordering this set again. I have one of the original trimmers, and it works perfectly.
The line appears to be a little lighter than the spools sold in stores, but this does not appear to have an impact on performance. This set costs a third of what I've seen it sell for in stores. I would strongly suggest it.
I got twice as many spools for the same price as Worx replacements, but the spools are not as full as Worx replacements, and the line appears to be slightly thinner. I haven't tried them on a trimmer yet, so I'm not sure how long they'll last. If there is a significant difference, I will update the review.
