They break after extended use, like all cords, but they seem to last a long time before I have to replace them. Because my yard is small, one spool usually lasts at least one growing season. It's simple to set up and withstands the test of time. I'm overjoyed that these are available on Amazon. I quickly located this line replacement by searching for the make and model number of my weed Wacker. It saves me the trouble of going to the store and looking for what I'm looking for. Ordering on Amazon is simple and convenient, and I save money and time by not having to go to the hardware store unless I need something specific.
I'll be honest with you: I'm a snob. I tried to save some money by simply rewinding my old spool with new line, but it wasn't worth it in the end. I didn't have many tangles, but the replacement line seemed to break a lot more often, which is strange because it was thicker than the original line. br>br>With the added thickness came added weight, so the head of my trimmer vibrated a lot more, and the line broke right where it exited the head several times, forcing me to stop everything - disassemble the whole thing - Before putting it all back together, manually advance the string. When I did this a few times, the line would break again in less than two minutes. I was ready to throw the trimmer away because I was so frustrated, but as a last resort, I ordered this replacement spool to see if it could help. Wow, br>br>Wow, br>Wow, br>Wow, br>Wow, What a distinction! Even though this line is much thinner, it lasts a lot longer than the one I was using previously. Also, because the line is thinner and lighter, there is less vibration in the trimmer's head. br>br>I admit that I don't do much trimming and that I have a small yard, but I can mow my entire yard three or four times before having to advance the line. As a result, this spool will most likely last several years before I need to replace it. br>br>You could buy the same diameter and quality of line and manually wind it onto the old spool, but for the price of this replacement and knowing how well it has worked for me, I'd recommend this option. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one if I needed one again.
Weedeaters irritate me to no end. However, you must use one if it is the only tool available for the job. This string is as thin as angel hair pasta and nearly as tough. br>I have a TINY yard, and I used the entire spool in less than an hour. Is it similar to razors, then? Although the initial razor is inexpensive, the cost of replacement blades quickly adds up. br>It's a real tinfoil-wrapped present. hat- type- weed- 'Eating Conspiracy' is a phrase that describes the act of eating something.
The letter B stands for The D bump feed string trimmer works great (and the line feed works well), but it's not a particularly expensive item that could be replaced with a different model at any time; I didn't want to have a great trimmer with no way to replace the line.
This is the right size for my weed eater, which is electric. The last time I looked for them, I couldn't find them at Home Depot. br>They snap into place easily and are long-lasting. Because I have a large concrete patio and a wood deck in my back yard, I trim the entire area. I don't have a lawn mower, and a weed eater is much easier to maneuver than a lawn mower.
I looked for a bump trimmer that had only one line. They're becoming increasingly difficult to come by these days. With my new, simpler trimmer, I use a lot less line. This is a good one.
It was a complete waste of money as well as a source of frustration. I'm not sure if it's because of the twine or because of the design, but the new spool didn't last an entire lawn, and I don't even have a quarter acre to mow. Because the wire kept breaking so quickly, I had to spend more time refeeding it. Save your money and look for another seller.
So, I bought this black and decker trimmer line replacement earlier this month, and it ran out on the first and only use. I couldn't even finish what I had started. I purchased this exact line replacement last summer, and it lasted all summer and into March, which is why I needed to replace it. There's no way the same amount of trimmer line was given out. I don't even have a large front yard, and I only use it in the corners and along the edges.
