Each time I mow the lawn, I have to extend the string one or two times. To compare, I only have the stock Stihl trimmer string and some HD stuff that looked promising, as well as this item. This item is unquestionably the best.
This line, on the other hand, is. I believe it is too thick at 095 inches.
Yes, I believe that is the case. That's only a smidgeon of a difference in thickness. In my still rs 75 trimmer, I use the vortex line.
Yes, I believe so, but you should check the store's inventory to see what sizes are available.

Vortex rotary. I own and operate a full-service landscaping, hardscaping, and lawn-maintenance business that also specializes in snow and ice removal. I've used almost every type of line there is. This stuff is incredible! It's extremely precise, requiring less effort from both the operator and the equipment to complete the task. I've been using the stihl x line for a while now. For the past four years, I've had a score of 95. After seeing a YouTube review of this rotary vortex line, I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I took the opportunity. Employees are more productive and accurate in their trimming. You can trim the grass precisely without having to cut it down to the ground level. This is due to the fact that this line does not produce as much of a 'fan' effect, which causes the grass to blow down before being cut. The line's shape makes it easy to trim with minimal 'blow down. ' I'd buy it again without a doubt. Some employees complain that because the line is black, they can't see it when it's spinning. This isn't an issue because at 18,000 fpm, no matter what color the line is, you won't be able to see it. I don't mind wearing black. But I've been doing this for 20 years. In my experience, it lasts nearly as long as the stihl x line. I believe the stihl x has a longer life span between re-uses. the spollings Again, this isn't an issue for me because this line is slightly less expensive than stihl x, so everything works out in the end. If you feel your current line is lacking, I recommend giving it a try; you can also get a smaller roll to try, which is nice; I chose the 5lb roll because we go through it quickly. **Please keep in mind that if you have a buyers style roll caddy on your equipment trailer, this spool will not fit. Check the dimensions first, as the roll is too wide.
In comparison to Oregon, this line is far superior. It cuts much more cleanly and at a lower RPM. It also has "level" flight characteristics, which are lacking in many other lines. This gives the lawn edges a smooth, even appearance rather than a choppy appearance. When it comes to longevity, Vortex seems to hold up just as well, if not better, than any other brand I've tried before, especially considering all of the other advantages. With this line, I find that I don't need to rev the engine as high to get a clean cut. Also, this large spool is a better value, and it will most likely last me a lifetime. It's just that I wish it had arrived sooner. 105”.
Hog. After seeing a YouTube video describing this trimmer line, I decided to give it a shot. On my four-year-old Husky 223l trimmer, I'd been using Husqvarna titanium line, which I thought was fantastic. I was sorely mistaken. I've never seen anything like this line trimmer. I took it to the back of my yard and used it on some four-year-old, three-foot-tall weeds, which it sliced through like butter. Nothing I've used in the past compares to how well this line cuts without bogging down the line trimmer engine. br>Highly recommend this trimmer line; nothing I've used in the past compares to its cutting capability.
I've never seen anything like it in terms of trimmer lines. I used a Shindaiwa T230x trimmer to roll 25' of this onto an Echo Speed Feed 400 head. (As an aside: At the end, I felt a little dragged - It was actually too much at 25'! I re- According to the instructions, there should have only been 20' of line - I started with some grass and small weeds, but it still progressed correctly. ) This blade cuts cleanly and effectively on both fine grass and thick weeds. I then took it over to the forsythia bush and began pruning the previous year's (over)growth. That couldn't stand a chance against it. I drove it around my property until I had used up the half tank of gas it had - I'm guessing it'll take about half an hour. I only bumped the line out twice the entire time, and I was aiming for the most gnarly-looking woody crap I could find. The only sassafras saplings that it wouldn't go through were those that were 5/8" or larger. The length of time it took for the line to need to be advanced astounded me. I've been playing with it for a few hours now and I'm still impressed. I'm sold on this product, and I'm proud to say that it's made in the United States of America (or so the package claims).
This stuff is extremely effective. After watching the video mentioned in other reviews, I've been using this for over a year. I have . A grassy 5 acre plot. One summer, I went through a big spool of HD tape worth $25 in two months. It was about halfway down this spool's length. It was breaking off in chunks when it came into contact with anything that wasn't grass, i. e. Concrete, trees, dirt, a mailbox, a light post, and a basketball hoop are all examples of small sticks. I was re- Every two weeks, I'll respool it. br>br>I trim about 30 times a year with my trimmer. Two summers later, I still haven't replaced the first spool of this stuff that I installed on my trimmer. Each time I mow the lawn, I have to extend the string one or two times. When it comes to the quality of this product, I only have the stock Stihl trimmer string, some HD stuff that looked promising, and this item. I wish I had paid Amazon's $37 for it. When I ordered it from Amazon, it cost me $48. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> May 2019. After two seasons, I finally threw up. Still glad to be alive. br>Recent changes: The deadline for applications is March 2020. Throughout the summer and autumn of 2019, I used the same spool. It's still missing half of the line. My new home doesn't need as much trimming as my old one did. This roll will most likely last me until I am no longer able to do it on my own. br>Jun2021br>Respooled for the second time. At the new house, I've been smacking a lot of concrete. I've only scratched the surface of the paper.
