The trimmer came with a reel of trimmer line, and on any gas or electric trimmer I've ever owned, the line has never lasted as long as this line. This stuff is tough as nails, and I do a lot of trimming around granite and concrete block edging, which usually tears. pretty quickly up line (FYI - I'm going to assume it's a Makita zero. The Makita 0 and the 080 replacement line are the same. 080 that comes on the original reel and will be worn in the same way.
