I'm new to line trimmers, so I made a mistake by purchasing this product, which is 50 meters long when my EGO line trimmer only needs about 10 feet per refill. I've had my trimmer for over two years and haven't had to refill it once! According to some calculations, I may have purchased enough line to last for the next 30 years by accident. To be fair, I only use my trimmer for about 10 minutes per month, so if you use it a lot, this refill may only last you a few months. How long has it been? However, unless you're a professional landscaper, you can probably get away with a much smaller size. br>br>Making matters worse, the packaging is difficult to open and cannot be reclosed. The thick plastic ripped open in an awkward manner, leaving a smattering of sharp edges. The springy line then uncoiled and was unable to be repackaged. So, for the next 30 years, I'll have to live with this ripped, sharp, and unsightly plastic package spewing coils of orange line all over the place. Uh. great? br>br>In any case, I strongly advise you to watch EGO's 2-minute video when refilling the line in your EGO trimmer. I saved myself a lot of headaches by watching this five-minute instructional video. "How to replace your line by winding it on the EGO Power 15" String Trimmer" is the title of the video on YouTube. " Don't try to refill without instructions because the process isn't intuitive or simple.

So much so that I signed up for EGO's NEW commercial Pro series in the hopes of getting a chance to try it out before it goes on sale to the general public. As of last week, I had swapped out four of my gas (string trimmer, pole saw, brush cutter) tools. On the trimmer, there is a special blade. / hedge trimmer) to EGO consumer grade batteries because they are so much better than the headaches that GAS brings. When I re-examined the situation, I discovered I ended up re-spooled with another well-known brand because I was spooled with another well-known brand. So, I ordered this and here we go again, loading the yard for the second time. Because it is triangulated rather than round, this must be an improved version of the original design. Fences made of chain link have a minor impact on this string. This string is significantly more durable than any other I've ever used. Thank you very much, Ego. They also work well as an electric trimmer. After two years, it's still going strong and hasn't given me any trouble.

This line, based on my experience, lasts a long time but is more expensive than other brands. It cuts through thick grass and weeds in a way that I really like. In fact, because the trimmer is so powerful, I would advise wearing long pants and goggles. lines have a lot of power. A total of 164 feet of is included in the package. This is probably more than I'll use in the next five years with a 095" trimmer line. I'm not sure if the type of twist makes a difference or not. I was just buying the EGO replacement line because the price difference was not enough to persuade me to switch to a generic line; however, there is one drawback that many others have mentioned, though it is not a major issue: It's just a pain. This product is advertised on Amazon and on the packaging as having a line cutter. This cutter was not included in the package I received. As I previously stated, it is only a minor annoyance for me because I have so many other things to worry about. Trimmer line should be cut to length with better tools. Whoever makes this product, in my opinion, needs to tighten their packaging quality control criteria. shipment.

The trimmer's included line lasted me all summer, even though I don't trim every week. I purchased the trimmer in the winter of 2018 and used it a couple of times during the summer of 2019. The line had run out after being trimmed two weeks ago. This is the trimmer line that came with my trimmer, so I bought it. You must cut 16 feet of rope and attach it to the trimmer. I didn't check, but I'm guessing I'd already gone through 8 feet. The feed was constantly bumped by me. Last summer, there was a lot more than I recall. I noticed the ends were splitting when I stopped the trimmer. I have no idea how old this stuff is. I think I read somewhere that you should soak the trimmer line in water. That's something I'll research further. But who soaks trimmer line in water, and how do you do it if the spool is already full? To summarize, this is NOT the trimmer that came with it. That is something I can assure you of. I'm hoping the seller will respond and let me know if there's anything I'm missing and offer a solution.

I purchased this product after reading reviews that claimed it was better than other brands and lasted longer. This has never been my experience. I currently use an EGO trimmer, but will switch to a generic brand in the near future.
