Selected User Reviews For 13 Pack WA0010 Replacement Trimmer Line Spool Compatible with Worx, 120ft .065 inch, Compatible with Worx String Trimmers (12-Line spools+1 Cap)
Yes, I suppose after purchasing the Worx weed wacker, which I adore, everyone discovers that the lifetime free spools are no longer so free after the outrageous shipping costs. It is less expensive to purchase them on Amazon. It is significantly less costly.
I'm always on the lookout for a good deal, and this stuff is dirt cheap, which is unfortunate because it's worthless. Just to edge my lawn once, I go through an entire spool of thread. There are a couple of 2"-sized cracks. Because it is brittle and breaks every few seconds, 3" sections of it are scattered throughout my yard. It may appear that I am exaggerating, but the rate at which it breaks is ridiculous. I'm constantly yanking out more line, and I've had to re-spool the spool ofF on several occasions. Because the line breaks inside the trimmer, it must be threaded. BUYING THIS PRODUCT IS A MISTAKE!.
I received the wrong spools in the first set. The second set was for the ones I ordered in the first place. However, I have yet to complete a spool without it breaking multiple times. Even worse, the break is always at a point where the plastic isn't cleanly separated, requiring you to fish out and separate the end with a screwdriver or blade in order to continue. I ended up tossing out a couple of half-finished projects. Because it's so inconvenient, it's often used.
They're definitely cheaper in price but not in quality AAA in my book.
These spools function in the same way as the ones that came with the worx weed eater. These are highly recommended; they have lasted just as long as the originals thus far. Additionally, the pricing is more favorable.
I'm not sure how people think it's as good as the manufacturer says it is. I bought it because the manufacturer's replacement cap for my cordless string trimmer, which had broken, was temporarily unavailable. The cap and spool lines fit perfectly, but the line strength and width are simply not comparable. I did two lines in one session rather than a fraction of one, and it took longer because of the difficult-to-read lines. Cut weeds didn't respond as well to this string line, so while it was less expensive, it ended up costing me time. If the manufacturer is out of the OEM part, it'll suffice in a pinch, but it'll take a long time to replace. Despite the cost, I'm likely to stick with the "real" thing in the long run.
The Worx edger/trimmer is a perfect match. Worx advertises lifetime free replacements, but they charge more to send them than we paid to get more from this vendor.
I'd previously purchased these and found them to be quite reliable. I'm not sure if I just got a bad shipment, but they're awful. I had two spindles that wouldn't feed through, so every 10 feet, I had to manually click the manual feed button. I go through about one roll every other time I mow my yard, and I have a medium-sized yard; I used to get about four or five mows with one spindle.
