For a Troy-based company, it's ideal. TB42BC is a Bilt model. The single D driver, however, is all you'll need.
They can be used with any carb.
As far as I can tell, it's 11/64 sae, which equals 4. 3 mm. A 3/16 sae, on the other hand, is a number four. The first of three sae sizes that qualify for a 5mm is 13/64. It's a 4mm hex wrench, according to your answer. My Poulan pole saw and Remington 20" chainsaw both work fine with it. If that is of any assistance.
Yes, the splined adjustment tool that fits both the high and low carb settings should be included in your kit.

Some small engine manufacturers will go out of their way to make a not common set screw to adjust a carburetor, so I purchased the twelve pack solely so I had multiple options based on manufacturer's preferences on their product design. So, for that reason, I purchased the twelve pack. With my other devices, I now have more opportunities to work. My chainsaw was powered by a Spline driver. (He was one of the twelve drivers. ) I had no problems, and I double-checked the quality of the materials (metal and plastic) used to make these drivers. My inspection of the materials revealed that they were in good condition. Unless abused and improperly connected to the screw, the metal is not soft and will not easily strip. If you strip these, something is obviously wrong, and this tool wasn't designed for the job, or the driver isn't aligned properly with the set screw. When adjusting the carburetor on a small engine, you must be gentle. I am. With a set screw, you should always be cautious. Take your time, examine the type of set screw, and select the appropriate driver. These drivers will last a long time if you line it up correctly with the screw; I can't speak for the professional who fixes ions of small engines on a daily basis, but for home use, these drivers work well. In any case, a professional technician should exercise caution when working on our small engines. They might strip my set screw if they strip these drivers. They aren't paying attention in the first place. If they strip my set screw, they are hastening the repair and increasing my costs. Any user faction would benefit from these drivers, in my opinion. They're quite excellent.
I didn't have to take my string trimmer, leaf blower, or edger to the shop because of a simple adjustment. Simply look up "carb adjustment" or "engine bogging down under throttle" on YouTube. "If you're already capable of changing your own spark plugs, this is just another skill to learn to save money.
I've had this weedeater for ten years, and it's only recently started giving me problems by not idling or turning at maximum rpms when I'm trying to edge the lawn. br>br>After watching a video on youtube and discovering that the issue was improper carburetor adjustment, I ordered this set. Not only did I get the 27cc weedeater up and running in under ten minutes. I tried the same adjustment on a newer 25cc Craftsman I had in the shed, which had never run for more than 5 minutes before cutting off, and it now runs and idles properly as well! I was ready to give up and spend $200 on a new weedeater when I realized I had misplaced mine. Then I came across these life- and money-saving resources! br>br>Because I've only had the tool for an hour, I gave it a four-star rating for durability; I'll update it as I use it more. A fantastic purchase! Now is the time to get these tools before they're too late! This is a fantastic addition to any Do It Yourself toolkit!.
These will help you save money. Because of the stupid 24 splined adjustments, I had to throw away two weed wackers. They were in desperate need of tuning and were unable to do so. Last year I got a new one, but it was acting up this year. Carb needed to be adjusted, just like the old ones. I made the decision to search for a tool that would allow me to make adjustments. These are excellent. So far, I've only tweaked my weed wacker and a friend's hedge trimmer. They fired up and ran perfectly after 1/8th of a turn. It appears to be a perfect and snug fit. So far, I've only worked with 24 spline.
I own a four-year-old weed eater. It's only run for a while now when I leave the choke in the start position. It would die every time I pressed the throttle trigger. I was about to buy a new weed eater, but before I spent another $150, I did some research online and discovered that the problem could be solved by adjusting the carburetor. So for $16 and less than 5 minutes, my weed eater is as good as new. I only require a single D tool, but this set includes a large number of them. But I figured it might come in handy with my chainsaw, which I plan to purchase later this year. br>br>The tools are fairly light, but the adjustment screw requires no torque, so this isn't an issue. I just saved a ton of money thanks to this little set. I'm glad I took a chance and tried it.
To keep it running, I'd have to put the choke on halfway. Clearly, the weight is too low. When I finally got around to looking at the carburetor, I discovered a high-speed and idle-adjustment screw, but it was a new type of screw head to me; There are splines on the outside of it. I found the right screwdriver on Amazon and could have bought it separately for $6 or as part of a set for $20. I decided to take a chance and buy the entire set. br>I adjusted both mixture screws, and the blower now works perfectly. It probably got another 3000 RPM and a lot more air from it. It irritates me that Husqvarna would sell a machine in such a state, but it's all right now.
They did the job, which was to fix the idle on a Weed Eater, Scooter, and Sport Bike, and the quality was exactly what I expected for the price, making them ideal for the DIY type who uses these tools on a regular basis. After all, how frequently must an air idle mixture screw be adjusted? These will suffice for the time being, especially given the price, but I would gladly pay much more for a Professional Grade Set IF I could find one, as I do a lot of carb work on everything from weed eaters to motorcycles to boat engine carbs to trucks, and everything in between! Anyway, I appreciate these Jewels and would, and most likely will, purchase them again. Thanks! Oh, and I got them very quickly as well! 👍🏽.
