Stens filters and prefilters are less expensive than Kohler filters and prefilters. There are two Stens filters that differ by less than a factor of ten. Height is 5". Before placing an order, be sure to measure your filter.
It does what it's supposed to do. It was only a matter of getting a new pre-made outfit. Since the previous one was several years old, I decided to replace it with a new one.
It worked well as a stand-in for pre-made pre-made pre-made pre-made pre-made pre- It was less expensive than the John Deere brand filter for my John Deere LT155 (Kohler 15HP) lawn tractor.

Fit.
The old one was filthy, and I wanted to protect the engine on my lawnmower, so this appears to do the trick.
It's a good prefilter. There will be no issues.
