A Model LT1046 and two A Models LT1047 Filters like these are used with the LT1050 by Kohler.
two of these, but have not yet installed them. They seem to screw on, but they are certainly shorter than what I currently have. I've got a Kohler engine on my Bronco Riding Mower from Home Depot. (Lower capacity than the original. 2) I found no specifications on the website. I suspect that the reasons why they were specified were not intentional, since they are priced lower than the rest on the same Kohler page.
During the conversation, I asked Kohler about filters and they told me any of their filters would fit any Kohler engine.

The price is under $1000, and it's a genuine Kohler! Filtering the oil is their job, they screw on and screw it on. The filter is the one I ordered for my Kohler engine. The fact that the product was made in India left me somewhat disappointed. There are a majority of Kohler's gas and oil filters made in that factory. Are there any reasons why it should not be made in the U. S. ? Despite Kohler's good engines, concerns have been raised about an lowering of standards with the engine manufacturing process.
The brand of tools I choose is the one recommended by my Craftsman T210 because I am wary of cheap alternatives. In spite of the fact that it was a *********** I used a special filter tool to delete the old one so I could get off. It may be worthwhile to check this when changing your filter and remove the P-ring if this happens to you. I noticed mine still had the old O ring attached to the engine when I removed it. As soon as I used a tool to make it snug on the new filter, it spun on right away I lightly oiled its ring. Secondly, I like the fact that the 2 pack is a 2-pack so that next time I can use the right one. For the name brand, it is priced fairly.

Buying them as a twin pack was cheaper than buying them separately for a 20 horse power Vertical Kohler Lawnmower Engine. Due to the fact that I have about an acre of lawn to mow, one of these lasts for two seasons before it needs to be changed. What do you mean by "old stock?"? They were sent back. The boxes already had some holes and were stained and torn when I received them. It appears that the filters have been rolled around in the boxes for a long time because there are many scuff marks on the paint. From the pictures I found on the Web I think they may be Old Stock and the lower(great!) price is off a Warehouse clearance. Old stock is fine for engines that aren't brand new, but not every time. As a result, I sent the parts back since they were critical in nature.
