My husband was replacing the idler pulley and timing belt on his Club Cadet lawn tractor. His first reaction was to go to the site to check the price, but he found it listed for more than I received my belt from Amazon three days earlier than the date I was told it would arrive, and it is actually a perfect fit. Your help is much appreciated!.

It fits my cub LTX1040 mower perfectly and seems made with good Since I have not used it yet, I cannot comment on how long it will last or how well it will perform.

Works with Cub Cadet LTX 1042 but not with LTX This belt was purchased to replace an older, faulty belt on a Cub Cadet LTX 1042 Deck spindle

The belt cannot be replaced or worked with this device. The belt on this machine is not compatible with the LTX 1042, I have replaced a belt before. So I am aware of how to replace the belt properly. Again, the wrong belt again! The quality seemed decent, but it wasn't the right belt!.

The price is much lower than the mtd brand, and it fits my cub cadet i1042 mower perfect. It appears to be well constructed and it will last for a long time.
