The tire width is about 1/4" less than its original size, so there will be less slop on the tire. This new set of wheels does not come with dust covers. Despite the fact that the new wheels are not as beefy as the originals, I think the difference is of no consequence. There is an imbalance in these wheels, and I note that at speeds over 65mph they become unbalanced There is a slight vibration I feel at 70 miles per hour. A bit of fun (just kidding). It was a no-leak summer the first time they held an air show. We kept the lawnmower in the shed during the winter and the tires went flat as the spring progressed. My tires had a hole, so I used a little soapy water to find the hole. My disappointment is that there are many small holes rather than one large one. This tire is worn out, with micro holes appearing all over the tread.
