There is a gap of 2 inches or more between the two. In general the product is heavy duty and excellent quality, as indicated by the quality of the handle and the product itself!
If your log is 32" you should have no problem handling it. My personal experience is that these work well

I think it's the tiniest It was too small for my use, so I sent it back and got the 60" model instead. A 28" log was only good if it was on an elevated surface like a sawmill or trailer (in my opinion).

I have been using this product for a while. This tool can handle slabs or logs up to 36 inches in width. The hook tooth on his mouth is very sharp! This heavy duty hook and rod is made of steel. There are no signs of paint falling off after a lot of abuse, so there is no reason to be concerned. There is only one thing I plan on doing, which is to glue the rubber handle grip to it given that it slides a bit.
The following are some of the reasons it is beneficial Trees are limbs on the ground because you cut them down, branched them, and now they are The chainsaw must be used to slice it down to a few inches off the ground or your chain will eat through the By using this tool, you are able to do this all the way up the trunk, but it still weighs a lot. By rotating it 100 degrees, you will be able to get the new log. I have found it to be very good for moderate size logs. It has a temperature of 250 degrees, which will help you finish off those nearly but not quite cuts. a guy like myself who is 6" and 155 lbs and has to work alone, it is just too hard to roll large logs. I cannot even do it with my marvel, and I have to do it some other way in order to make both halves light enough for rolling. In spite of this, however, it is VERY well built, and unless you are planning to work with enormous logs, this is totally worth having.
A cant hook was delivered to me I was quite disappointed with this product when I opened the package, even though I know it is a great product. Its reputation of functionality and durability led me to order this specific model, so I was really disappointed to find out that the paint was chipping and peeling before it even got to me. As well as these scratches, there are some pretty deep ones on the hook. If it costs that much money, I would expect that it would be coated in better quality paint to prevent rust. In addition to the scratches, I get the impression that I bought damaged products. With such a high price point, it is important that the quality control of this product is better.
I think this is a superb Despite its size, it is extremely strong and well made. Top quality materials were used in the construction. The thong grips the log very well and makes it easy to move it around. Once I put it on a log about 15 inches in diameter, I was pleasantly surprised how well it worked. I spent more on this metal handle instead of one with a wooden handle because I found it to be more reliable. There will be no bending of this object. In addition to preventing slipping, the spike easily bites into the log. This is the tool you need if you need to move big logs.
In my mill, I mill a lot of larger logs, and I was hoping to find a cant hook that could withstand their weight. That just isn't possible with such a short hook. great and the durability is out of this world, but I made my own cant hook with a longer hook in order to get over large Alternatively, I should switch the hooks out so this more powerful handle can handle my bigger logs, while my home-made handle will still be able to handle my smaller logs A tube handle made of pipe can be used with small hooks to lift small.
Cant hooks like this are made of heavy duty steel. *I is a great product. There is only one complaint I have, and that is the softness of the rubber handle on the end. You won't be able to keep it for.
This thing works as it should and is well made, and at this price I want three of it. We recommend you keep it and you won't need to buy another one***Update While I still think this thing is great, my buddy and I managed to bend ours on thick hickory,. . . give me enough leverage and I'll bend anything, I weigh 180 pounds, and the powder coat chipped off because I'm not a sissy.
This rake works great for rolling logs, pulling them behind you, or even trimming stumps. It has worked for me as I weigh over 300# and have put all my weight on it with no problems. A great product that I would recommend to anyone.
