I don't have it by my side, but I'd estimate it to be around 48 inches long. This is a fantastic piece of software. We used it on logs up to 30 inches in diameter and it outperformed the other Cant Hooks. It was a hit with our professional miller, who had worked in the industry for 30 years.
This is an outstanding Cant Hook. I have a collection of my father's old hooks, but this tool far outperformed them. A white pine log with a diameter of 36 inches or more was no problem for us. This tool has exceeded my expectations.

I am only an average build guy of average height, but the peavey and cant hook can move/roll 20 inch logs at around 10 to 12 foot lengths with relative ease. But I work alone in the woods, growing my own firewood, and the peavey saves me a lot of time and effort. Although there are less expensive options, this is something that will be passed down to your grandchildren, and you get what you pay for in the end. When moving logs that large, I believe metal construction is also safer.
