We have used it for pipes up to 24 inches in diameter, but it seems the device could handle pipes up to about 30 inches in diameter. Although I am not certain, it should be able to handle more than the 24 inch screen I use.
I am not sure how much this weighs. The weight may depend on how you set the unit up, but it should be around 15 or 20 pounds. In addition to being a pickaroon, it is a timber jack as well.

Everyone is saying that this is very good. A few of my friends have already purchased one after I recommended it. couldn't be happier with the quality and durability of this product. After being bent by two other brands, I turned two more this Towards the end of the day, my endurance was the only thing to give out. For our farm, we are clearing a few acres of woodland and have started by hand thinning 8 acres of wetlands. Our Log Ox makes the task much easier and we feel confident working on more land. We have even purchased an Alaskan sawmill and are working 24 hours a day. It's not like the Log Ox is concerned about 36" trunks. This is an investment well worth making.
When I unpacked it, all of the pieces were very I find it very intuitive and it is designed to be assembled and adapted in the field more often than not. Although it seems complicated at first, it really works well to lift logs, and it saves my legs which is very important for me as I have lower back issues. However, the "T stand" is attached by bolt and nut, rather than a pin as is the norm. This isn't clear to me and I may have to change it out in the future, but this is a great tool and deserves your attention. When I first used it to lift a large oak round and my wife smiled and said, "Money well spent", I knew it was worth it. This isn't a statement that she often makes when I purchase.
This product is well-made in the United States and can be assembled and dismantled easily. All items are conveniently stored in the storage bag for convenient access and transport. LogOx does save time when lifting and bending over to pick up cut logs, however I find it uncomfortable to have the logox log lifter strapped on my side while using the belt hook, which can lead to misalignment and possible injury over time. This is probably not a tool that I would use often, if ever. Be aware that the LogOx is quite heavy. However, it is made of steel, so there is no reason for concern. I believe that a difference of $130 is not worth the extra money spent if the unit does not have the bag, pickaroon head or belt hook. I received the unit early, and it was in good shape.
This item has excellent welds and is heavy duty for a piece of this size. You won't be disappointed with this purchase. It gives me the ability to cut trees and process firewood quickly and efficiently. All the features are great too, especially the side holster and the bag to store it in when not in use.
In spite of my aging back, I have found the Log Ox to be an extremely useful addition to my tool collection! Grabbing logs from the ground level no longer causes me back pain the next day because I'm no longer bending to pick them up. By utilizing the LogOx's log jack, what used to be a two person job has become a one man job, and by keeping the LogOx within reach with the holster. Having a standing base on the LogOX provides the proper balance for the holster when used at the log splitter The ground-side handles are the same height as the above handles Bucked tree segments on a level ground. This is an addition Mother Nature barely touched!
Thanks LogOx for a sturdy, well built tool I have come to depend upon. Please take caution Since I can no longer imagine how I'd process wood without the LogOx, I think it should be labeled as an addictive substance!.
I don't want to say more, I don't want to say What it says it will do, it Despite what the promotional video says, you won't be misled. Due to low back problems and knee pain, I've been medically retired for 12 years, and I'm unable to stand or bend over to pick up rounds without feeling my back spasm, and I can't lay flat for a day afterward. By using this, I can pick up rounds one handed without having to stoop or bend at the waist. In other words, it saves your back. One of the few things I dislike about this attachment is that every pin is so small. They do hold everything securely, as they not only make it easy to attach and detach, but are also easy to attach and detach. Still, I'm sure I've going to end up losing one of those damn things. If they are not strong enough, I might use bolts and wing nuts instead.

There's a huge difference between picking up logs with this kit and picking them up with a shovel. After watching me pick up logs and flip them into a pile, my wife advised that I should buy another to use both arms because it was much easier and more efficient. She was right, so I bought another. The money is well spent. Construction of a solid nature.
